I bought the chicken and gammon today, but looking on the gammon packaging I dont think you can freeze it, unlike the chicken.

So those thinking about stockpiling the gammon for christmas, check it in case I am right.

Was lucky enough to get a decent size medium chicken, they were only small ones by dinner time which is wrong in my book.

I had the swiss chocolates instead of the wine - £ 7 a box - so another christmas present out of the way (£6.82 chicken):j

Fab deal! How do you get the chocs instead of the wine? We didn't see any chocs about or any signs about it. We got two of the deals today, but may go back for one more before the weekend is out.

Oh okay, thanks for that. Might just have gammon on Sunday then.

  • Bought the gammon this afternoon and decided to eat it tonight as a treat for being stupid enough to brave M&S this afternoon, it was delicious and has set me up for going back to Marks later tonight :D

One tip, the first time we had it we put the honey on at the start, this time we put it on the gammon half way through and it was much better.

Didn't see anything that said you could have chocs instead of wine. I must check this out next time. Managed to get a massive chicken though.
  • The cheese selection sounds tempting...I wonder whether there's enough cheese though?

Was the cheese selection a substitute for the dessert? I saw it but wasn't certain, lol.
