  • I've just been. Lovely atmosphere in the store, lots of samples to taste, staff all smiley!
All the food for the offer was at the end of the aisle, and was being replenished, plenty of everything, except chickens, only small ones. I went to the other end of the aisle and picked up a ‘large’ one with the same label, and it scanned fine.

Bought two offers - one chicken, one gammon, saved £15.76. All looks lush, I'm a happy bunny!
Spent money saved on other bargains in store.

    Cheers

I think the way it would work is if you bought 2 meal deals say and then 4 extra bottles of wine you would get 10% off the 6 bottles and then 20% off the 4 bottles as well (so the 2 included in the meals would count towards the 6 for 10% )

Just got back from there and just to confirm that 10% was deducted off all 6 bottles including the ones with the meal deal so my meal deals worked out at £9.64p
    :j :j :j
Largest chicken they had was only £5.79 though
It's not just about the money

Does this £10 deal automatcally come off at the tills or does the till operator have to do it? Just wondered if I can go through the self scan tills with it?
Also can I use a MS gift voucher on self scan? Thanks!
    MM x
p.s. You can tell I dont shop in M&S much!!

It comes off automatically - I took mine through the self serve tills as nobody else was using them!

And yes you can use vouchers on those tills.

But I would personally stay away today - M&S is HELL on a stick with all the flocks chasing the so-called bargains/cynical marketing ploys.
  • I had the swiss chocolates instead of the wine - £ 7 a box - so another christmas present out of the way (£6.82 chicken):j

Why dont M&S Food only stores do this?

Because some are Franchises especially those at railway and petrol stations and aren't run by M&S.

Spotted a medium chicken at £8.32, but use by date was tomorrow so got one at £7.82 instead.

Oooh, are they definately doing the choccies again? I might drag myself in if that's the case.

Also was it my imagination or did I read somewhere here M&S were going to do a special Xmas meal deal soon? Because otherwise I might get a chicken and a ham tomorrow for the freezer, as a start to Xmas dinner.

Its almost certain there will be another meal deal in early December but unless M&S goes insane there will not be another of after that before Xmas. So if the ham and chicken look good to you for xmas I would buy them now.
  • I bought 3 of the 2 dine for £10 meals this morning. I got 2 of the gammon joints and got a free carving board.

Also managed an £8 chicken. So all in all a good little spree.

Now off to see what I can find in the 342 offer online.:D
