The medium chickens vary in size and some are a good weight, worth a search for a bigger one.
Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.

sounds great. Missed the chicken roast last time although the Lasagne was great. I think I will get there early due to the crowds for the 20% off arriving early as well.

  • Just a "heads up" on the M&S meal deal. When I last bought one it included a whole chicken in the deal. I noticed when browsing around the store however that their ordinary Oak Farm Free Range chickens were reduced to £3 each (from an average of £10 each) because they were not selling due to the chickens included in the meal deal (which were smaller in size anyway). The same with desserts. Because of the rush to buy the desserts included within the meal deal their other desserts, which were not included, were not selling. I bought 3 profiterole stacks that hadn't sold for 50p each. It may be worthwhile looking for some reduced bargains as well as the usual meal deal as the popularity of the meal deal has a knock on effect for other items in the store. I still have 2 of the chickens in the freezer (you could say I filled my boots!). This was in the Exeter store.
I agree, bought the dine for £10, got OH to queue at checkout, wandered round,, staff on every aisle reducing normal produce. Got Chicken with brown sugar and honey glaze reduced to £3 from £7..., loads of other non £10 deals reduced. This was just after lunch on a Saturday....

Do you think I am hoping too much to hope that I will get 20% off the £10 offer too?! :D
