IT'S BACK !!! M&S "Dine in for £10" (merged)

Ive also heard the big chickens are back this week - woo hoo!0

I can't confirm that the chickens will be in as that would break company confidentiality. The same way no one should be confirming any promotional day for other items on Thursday.
But I can say I plan on doing my M&S Christmas clothes shopping on Thursday, grabbing some wine and picking up some bits to do a Roast for Sunday. I will be there at 8am to beat the rush, who knows how busy it could be.0 -
Just a "heads up" on the M&S meal deal. When I last bought one it included a whole chicken in the deal. I noticed when browsing around the store however that their ordinary Oak Farm Free Range chickens were reduced to £3 each (from an average of £10 each) because they were not selling due to the chickens included in the meal deal (which were smaller in size anyway). The same with desserts. Because of the rush to buy the desserts included within the meal deal their other desserts, which were not included, were not selling. I bought 3 profiterole stacks that hadn't sold for 50p each. It may be worthwhile looking for some reduced bargains as well as the usual meal deal as the popularity of the meal deal has a knock on effect for other items in the store. I still have 2 of the chickens in the freezer (you could say I filled my boots!). This was in the Exeter store.0

If there is 20% of everything on Thursday. Does that mean the meal deals will be £8 instead of £10. Dine in for £8 sounds much better to me.:j0

anyone know whats n the m & s dine in this week ?
Works out great if there are a few of you sharing the dine in as you can mix and match.
Like to plan ahead and i buy the vege from the barrow boy outside the shop and then try to use one of the side dishes as a starter by adding whatever we have in or if its the large chicken we share that and get another main meal for a starter < You can share the sweets if they are not in individual portions ( like the trifle ) then get the cheese board instead of one of the sweets.
We take it on turns to host the dine in at our houses its much cheaper than going to the pub or cooking youself and we have a really good night ( the wine helps)0 -
