Beannielou you couldn't say a nicer thing to me :blushing:

If I were debt free, and if my parents weren't so in need (Mum has Altzheimers) and the children were slightly more independent (almost there) I would be with OH, and writing. We could cope with losing my income.

But you would have to be an expat wife.........not quite "desperate housewives" but almost, in my experience.........

Mind you, you would get quite good at "coffee mornings" and you could be captain of the ladies golf club.......

Large glass of red and I've only eaten a third of a tube -mashing them into my gob as fast as you could say "weighing yourself tomorrow are you?"

£122.85 for 6 items, 2 more finish tomorrow and the carp finishes next weekend. :o

Popeye's Skype connection keeps failing

    But:
    • I stopped eating the Pringles
    • I have £122.85 into the pot.
So I'll stop complaining now :o
And I think there are 2 KitKats in the cupboard.

    I don't play golf :o

And I can't remember being in a girlie group (playgroup mums/coffee mornings/school runs etc, I'm not sure I'd know how to behave.:rotfl:
(We were the only single parent family in the childrens first school apart from a widowed mum, who was delightful, but had huge support from her family and so never needed a like-situation-friend.)

I expect I'd have virtual friends.........:D But you're right Hypno, so very not me.

you would soon play golf....and join in the quilting circle.....believe me, it ain't pretty!!

Still got 2/3 of a tube of pringles left.....and two kit kats.....I am mightily impressed.

My kit kat chunky is now contributing to my cellulite, and there will surely be no additional damage that the 2 remaining boost bars can do........., so I might as well put them out of their misery....

Day 12  In some ways, time's flying, (raise £1,000.00 and in others it d r a g s (63 days 'til I see Popeye)

Went to bed early last night, when I was kicked off the pooter by DS2 (I over-stayed my time by half an hour, and I'd said the time I'd finish, so he wasn't being unreasonable for a change) and funnily enough that has made me tremendously chaotic this morning. I also feel irritable and intolerant. I'm planning to put in a complaint about the workmen next door who, for the last 2 1/2 weeks have started noisy work most days between 7.15 and 8 am. OH spoke to them directly, and also to the neighbour, each time they'd be quiet the following day and then jack-hammer or such-like outside our bedroom window bang on 8 am. I probably won't complain, but I'm composing the phone call as an outlet for my irritability :o

Forget weigh in this morning - I did
But I'll do it tomorrow.......and that is nothing to do with last nights Pringles. :o

3 Amazon parcels to dispatch. They paid by Paypal - fees PAH!
Last time one chap bought 10 of the items - so much easier to send out - PAH again
(see how irrita[strike]ting[/strike]ble I'm being, I should just grow up, and go to work. ;)
