If you have a starbucks in your town they give them away free as well.

Yay @ the ebaying. Go you. Makes you feel a bit better, doesn;t it. Less clutter, plus more more, plus a valuable bargaining chip for various members of family ('Tidy your room/Wash up/Rub my feet or [insert most prized possesion here] will find it's way to Ebay....')
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

And I'm feeling a little subdued. Wellers awful news has made me think about family and stuff. I hate being apart from Popeye, but it could be worse.

I don't really feel like posting my trivia :o

I know, moaning about my 2 bank charges I got today doesn't really seem relevant at the min, does it.

Days like today, hard though they may be, do serve to remind us to put things into perspective, and as a result they make us more determined to get the most out of whatever we are striving for in life.

But bank charges ARE pants. Pooooooooooo (perhaps not a good idea to mix my metaphors:rotfl: )

It's not a smooth ride this debt collecting lark is it? Something always rises up and bites us. :undecided The chinese curse "may you live in interesting times" I'd like to turn on its head for a blessing "may your DFW days be steady and dull";) so much less stressful.

Beanielou, I always miss you :hello: Hi!
I have the site open often through the day, but may only read/lurk with the occasional post. And then in the evening DS2 *needs* to fight baddies or boast of his exploits on spacebook  so we barter for the time on the computer.

Today I have moved £120 from Paypal to my account, so shall up-date my signature. :D 2 buyers have yet to pay, they are both overseas  Though I always say no if someone asks "will you ship to" because there is NO seller protection for those sales. International signed for is not POD, and is not trackable. These 2 kept quiet........

A bill I was expecting at £460 came in at £740  but I had completely forgotten my deposit made 5 years ago, so the statement said -£500 deposit :T now I will only have to find £240 and have budgeted £460 :D

The vet snuck in another bill from heaven knows where. I think they have pound signs for eyes, and that's another £40. They want to do a blood test for another £120, at the price of all these tests the cat could have bought a degree. :rotfl: I am undecided about this test. The cat is happy, otherwise healthy and VERY hungry. The test is for the impact of his disorder on his organs. If the organs are damaged it's time for euthanasia, if they're OK it is £30 a month for the rest of his life (no I didn't insure a stray we adopted :o )

My hesitation is that although I don't want to be unkind to the animal, I don't want to pay all this money, and I no longer trust the vet :o

Ah well, not making a decision, is a sort of decision......

    Day 16
Didn't really up-date yesterday. Had a mystery shop, so took DD and DS to Mr T's and then to the pub for supper (the MS) and had a really great time.
I must confess to being ever-so slightly envious of the posters on here who have little children. Snaggles little Natasha is just edible. :D and I sort of miss having little ones around. :o:o:o But last night reminded me how lucky I am, and how nice young adults (or my young adults) are. They're GREAT company, and the whole trip was good fun. They were particularly good value when I queued up at customer services to query an item on our bill. It was rather complicated, a number of staff got involved and those 2 (aged 18 & 21) were mortified at first. As the query progressed and staff had to go back to see shelf edge prices it became quite good natured. I had my refund (twice the difference? No it was our error :o :rotfl: ) DS2 started to lecture me on it not being worthwhile. I replied that we'd waited about ten minutes total, and got £5.19 back and if he could find a job that paid that well he'd be laughing :D (£31.15 per hour)
When we got home we managed to disconnect the internet before I'd finished logging my report, so I came into work early to complete it.
