OliveOyls 82 day challenge

Day 19 -I just had to post this, I thought I'd probably put on weight, but I've actually lost 1lb
:j :j
And as I have to walk to work for the next few days I might keep it off.
Today I need to lug a fair bit too:- lunch - which has to be soup as the loaf I put in the BM isn't ready. DS2 wanted to watch telly late last night, so I put it on timer so it wouldn't be noisy during his film. And I miscalculated, it will be ready in 2 hours time:o
- 2 books that DS2 found that belong to the school library - this will save £22.95 on his bill
- I Amazon book sold
- 1 fairly heavy item which unexpectedly sold on e-bay
even if you never read it -thanks :A
but don't mention the writing which I *didn't* do, though I intended to0 -

Is it still Monday? Is it still Day 19? it feels like a very long day!;)
I love Amazon, it's so easy, so much easier than fleabay! Another Amazon book sold, and although the fees are high-ish it is SO simple.
Whereas on e-bay, one VERY slow payer has paid today, one still unpaid. And one buyer unhappy with his purchase so I've asked him to return it. He says it is greatly scratched. I'm not sure what to do if he returns a substitute (oh I am Very Suspicious)
Walked both ways to work (had to, the car is in for service) took me longer on the return journey, and I collapsed on the sofa when I got inTomorrow I have to do it all again.
Cooked:
3 x Lasagne
2 x curried beans
3 x chick pea casserole
1 x stuffed peppers
lunch for tomorrow (sort of risotto from the leftover stuffing)
& roasted Belly pork to put into baked beans.
This has been very efficient use of the ovenand will save me cooking when I next crash onto the sofa.
Car will cost £130 when I can get to pick it up. But budgeted for.
Off to bed soon, I'm cream crackered.;)0 -

Maybe you're right Beannielou
Slept well and woke this morning really missing Popeye.
Sometimes these moods just hit me out of the blue. Perhaps it was reading Wellers letter from Andy yesterday, perhaps because DS2 is going away todaySometimes there's no reason.
I'll be gentle with myself today, though I have 2 e-bay items to ship, one Amazon item and I have to walk to work and back.:p0 -
Yep, you have Popeye away, and the letter from Andy made everyone cry... plus all that cooking you did - no wonder you were tired. Gentleness is the order of the day.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

I think we are all having a few days like that - let them happen.....they are part of life, and make us appreciate the good days all the more.
Well done on the weight loss and the amazing efficiency in the kitchen.....I am not worthy to be in your "virtual" presence.....:oSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground.
