Hi Olive! Great challenge. But I haven't seen any mention of the play - how is that coming along?

Very much "work in progress" then

Bit like my ironing pile :o

I think this is where writing down my challenges, in a public place is going to pay off. There is no way I can delete that one is there? :rotfl:

    Day 6
Not even a week has past, and I feel well into this challenge - not that results are actually showing :rotfl: (weight loss doesn't even show!)
And I'm not sure exactly how to account for certain monies. I was going to count the e-bay money once it actually hit my account, less fees (over 30 watchers now :D ) but when do I count mystery shop and survey money?

Today for example I did a survey, and will get £4 (unfortunately in LV's as I didn't update my account, but I was saving them for Christmas anyway) when do I add that to my signature?

I've also managed to grab a mystery shop at last (there must be some very speedy people round here nowadays, I keep missing them). The payment for that I won't receive until the end of July probably, so when do I add that? What I don't want to do is double-count it....;)

And I've got a coupon for 2-for-1 at the cinema and was going to take DS2 to see Hancock, can I count that saving? (who is writing the rules for this challenge? oh me :o then I won't count that as money in, as *really* it is a commitment to money out....)

Off now to list a few more things on fleabay. :D

PS I DIDN'T have a KitKat today, though I really really wanted one. (but I did have a takeaway for lunch :o )

    Day 7
And it is chucking it down -so much for summer. I'm getting nowhere with the garden
And I'm feeling a bit [strike]despondant (sp?) [/strike] down today, a little overwhelmed by the jobs that are piling up, and the demands that others are making of me
    1) I've missed an important deadline at work and I have no idea how I managed that  but it may cost the company money - I'm going in a bit early to take a calm look at it. I only realised as I was leaving last night. _pale_
    2) There are zillions of things that are slipping - housework, and the ironing pile is racing the washing pile to the ceiling.
    3) I need to take DD2 to the dentist tomorrow, DD2 wants a lift in the middle of the day. The optician has written saying I need to come in, the cat needs a blood test at the Vet, DD2 needs [strike]advice[/strike] instructions for filling the next few weeks before uni, I have double-booked myself in the evening with a MS and a meeting. I think I need a wife :o but what I'd like to do is take a day off and clear the backlog.......

However when I got home last night, DS2 & DD had eaten all the supper, so I skipped a meal - made up for the takeaway at lunchtime and got a big sympathy vote from them when they realised :rotfl: (I didn't mention the takeaway :D )

Still haven't sold anything on Amazon (2 days  ), but e-bay is simmering nicely. Play still not top of the pile. :o

Ug! I really sympathise - I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed myself, by the number of little schemes on the go, and the garden, mostly, but you've got a *really* big list... I hope its better today for you - I know *exactly* what you mean about needing a wife. GL GL GL

I went into work when I was really ill, because my boss was away. So he doesn't realise how good I was to him......I might explain in detail so that he is more sympathetic ;)

There again, I might just ask for the day off tomorrow. :rotfl:

It doesn't help my mood that Popeye is on the road this week, so the only contact I have is a couple of e-mails each day

Perhaps DS2 will be a wife for me? (can't drive though)
