OliveOyls 82 day challenge
Comments
-
Hello Olive!
I have decided to join you and just spent a sad half hour or so planning my 70 day challenge, which will finish on the 14th of Sept. I am starting tomorrow.
It feels a bit odd to be honest since the 13th of sept is a very difficult sad day for me. If I had started it today it would end then and I am not sure I want that.
But I made some promises to some one important and this challenge will help me keep them.
my aims for the next 70 days are
1. to lose a stone
2. to sort out our back garden to a place Mum and I can sit and enjoy a glass of wine or cp of tea!
3. put up the new shed and fill it with stuff that is important to me, not endless amounts of junk
4. get someone to put boards down in the loft and use the space properly.
5. to e bay my extra junk.
6. to get a good Avon customer base
7. to halve my credit card debit.
8. to complete my assignments for open university.
9. to be fully prepared for school next term.
hmmmm. it looks like a lot to do over 10 weeks, six of those I will be off work so I think it is doable.
so here is to the challenge

 good luck Buffy, you have a lot to do there, so when you get to the end, it will be SO much more satisfying to look back at what you've achieved.
And I bluddy need the competition on the weight loss malarky! At the moment I'm expecting the weight to fall off just by walking to work a couple of times a week. I have no real plan apart from that. (I've tidied up the Pringles, and there are only 3 KitKats in the cupboard......) I was going to check my weight each Monday....as that is your first day I shall have a head start....:rotfl: :rotfl: (I'm a cheat too:D )
I'm going to save a nice bottle of wine to open on the 13th to share with you and I hope that day isn't too horrible for you.0 -

and I have taken to wearing trainers - not that I walk very much but clearly wearing trainers will make me lose weight wont it?

weight....
I had this grand idea of not gaining any, seeing as I was 2 stone too fat at the start of this. I've given up the scales now though, my constant snacking on hob nobs and the rest of their family has seen to that.
Bah, being thin is over rated anyway.:A

You cannot possibly aspire to a size 6 Toto, you are going to be womanly and round from now on :rotfl: you need to enjoy that.

Day 5
And as it's a Monday I can up-date my weight loss on my signature and unbelievably I have lost 4lb. :j  However supper last night was fab, and has probably reversed that weight loss. I will refuse KitKats today, but I won't be walking to work as I have a dentist appointment this afternoon that I must get to. DD has made supper for tonight, and she's cooked something low-fat.
There are 23 watchers and 3 bids on my 9 e-bay items.
DS2 is coming home today from his school trip. I'm quite excited:D0 -
Hope the dentist trip goes well - the rest of it sounds great, well done on the weight loss!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Well done on the weight loss - 4lbs is a fantastic achievement! I am sure one tinsy winsy kit-kat won't hurt, though
Ebay is looking good, though - must get my act together to list stuff as I still have a tonne of stuff to get rid of!
Have a good day, and hope the dentist's goes well!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Day 5 Part II
Well I got up in the loft this evening, not a pleasant task
Found a wasp nest that I'll need to deal with at the weekend, and evidence of mice, but also a couple of boxes of books.
Listing on Amazon is easy peasy, unfortunately too many of these books are already available for 1p :rotfl:
However I listed 9 books in a very short time, none less than £1.50 and will keep my eye out for more suitable books. They're on for 60 days, no sale no fee. But the fees are a bit steep  or maybe people can pack their 1p books up for a lot less than the £1.75 postage that they receive and that's where they make their profitEvery little helps......
And the dentist appointment wasn't for me  it was for DS2, who wasn't home. Fortunately they accepted that they'd sent out the wrong card, and not only haven't charged me for a missed appointment, but have re-booked him for Thursday. He's home now and delighted that he has that to look forward too. And my next appointment is in December. But a waste of petrol going there

I don't bother with the 1p listing for amazon - I reckon that I can surely get at least that much at a car boot sale!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
