:o you're being so nice you make me feel "tired and emotional" :o

Popeye would like to see me. And that's it.

    If he were here:
    • he'd write decent descriptions of his stuff/know the value and I could list them on e-bay feeling more secure that the listing was accurate & fair.
    • He'd work in the garden, and he'd get that flippin' strimmer working
    • We'd put on weight -but he has NEVER implied that he finds me any the less attractive. (probably afraid I'd squash him :rotfl: )
    • We'd spend FAR more, Last night I put £30 worth of purchases back on the shelf in Boots:D if he'd been there he'd have encouraged me.
    • And the bookshelves in the hall would be finished..........or maybe not :o
    What he'd like to see:
    • me [STRIKE]looking like Nicole Kidman[/STRIKE]
    • that bluddy play written
Thanks Karma, I think I have the next few days mapped out. I've no excuse, sis & a bro visited the aged P's this week, they can manage without me this weekend. :D Writing it is. Popeye cares less about the debt than me anyway.

    Day 49
And I have reasons to be happy:
    1. Found my bracelet which I thought I'd lost. It was on Popeyes bedside table which I cleared of rubbish :D
    2. I am now on Silver Status with one of the airlines frequent flyer programs :o This qualifies me for 10kg extra luggage and use of a lounge, and best of all, a speedy check-in. :D
    3. Booked my days off work, and they don't inconvenience anyone, and now the countdown begins :j
    4. I've booked my jab :o tomorrow I get my yellow fever :o (this IS good news, I can't fly within Africa without it)
    5. Found and booked a mystery shop - there's been a dearth in our area
    6. Booked Popeye's surprise trip for his birthday. I'm so excited, I'm going to struggle to keep it secret :D

The job I planned to spend Saturday doing I did this evening when I got back from the doctors. I emptied the sitting room, cleared everything of any mouse evidence. Bob you're right -they Wee  Fortunately we have a hard floor and I've Star-Clens-ed it :D I'm absolutely cream crackered :D

DD is cooking supper. (didn't want my defrosted casserole  that'll do tomorrow)
And I'm about to Skype Popeye :happylove

Well short and sweet Skyping him while he on site :o That cost £5 :o
    (but you're worth it Popeye :D )

He isn't currently able to access the internet or e-mail, but is in a bar watching cricket live from Headingly
  • They find a way where sports is concerned, my hubby can sniff a footy match at 10 paces when he is abroad! And a cricket one!

I think the beer is the lure.....the cricket is just the cherry on top. :D

I looked at sending "real ale" out there. It was Way too expensive, so that ensures he'll come home occasionally. :D:D
  • Mr.b walks along the canal to get his real ale fix. A choice of 6there, and when real ale festival is on, i never see him..bliss:rotfl:

He also likes going to a pub in Skipton to get a fix of some ale named after a sheep...Go figure eh:confused: ( but he is half welsh:rolleyes: ) so am i come to think of it:rotfl:
