you're being so nice you make me feel "tired and emotional"
Popeye would like to see me. And that's it.
If he were here:- he'd write decent descriptions of his stuff/know the value and I could list them on e-bay feeling more secure that the listing was accurate & fair.
- He'd work in the garden, and he'd get that flippin' strimmer working
- We'd put on weight -but he has NEVER implied that he finds me any the less attractive. (probably afraid I'd squash him :rotfl: )
- We'd spend FAR more, Last night I put £30 worth of purchases back on the shelf in Boots:D if he'd been there he'd have encouraged me.
- And the bookshelves in the hall would be finished..........or maybe not

- me [STRIKE]looking like Nicole Kidman[/STRIKE]
- that bluddy play written
Writing it is. Popeye cares less about the debt than me anyway. 0 -
Day 49
And I have reasons to be happy:- Found my bracelet which I thought I'd lost. It was on Popeyes bedside table which I cleared of rubbish

- I am now on Silver Status with one of the airlines frequent flyer programs
This qualifies me for 10kg extra luggage and use of a lounge, and best of all, a speedy check-in.
- Booked my days off work, and they don't inconvenience anyone, and now the countdown begins :j
- I've booked my jab
tomorrow I get my yellow fever
(this IS good news, I can't fly within Africa without it) - Found and booked a mystery shop - there's been a dearth in our area
- Booked Popeye's surprise trip for his birthday. I'm so excited, I'm going to struggle to keep it secret

Yes, I am going to the meet but can't find the thread anymore - there were some postings on the daily thread but nothing precise.
Writing wise - could you just not publish this thread?
I'll never see you on Richard & Judy now! (MSe ers don't have pay for tv)0 -
Hope yellow fever hasn't kicked in and you are ok after jabs.xBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Oh I have been such a good girl
(where is the smilie with a halo - I so need it
)
[strike]
[[strike]STRIKE]I've not spent anything[/strike] oops
I've spent £60 on my Yellow Fever jab   but I feel fine.
But that may be down to the large gin and tonic DD has made me
The job I planned to spend Saturday doing I did this evening when I got back from the doctors. I emptied the sitting room, cleared everything of any mouse evidence. Bob you're right -they Wee  Fortunately we have a hard floor and I've Star-Clens-ed it
I'm absolutely cream crackered
And I've booked to do a Boot Fair on Sunday
At 7am  with my Sis
DD is cooking supper. (didn't want my defrosted casserole
that'll do tomorrow)
And I'm about to Skype Popeye :happylove0 -

They find a way where sports is concerned, my hubby can sniff a footy match at 10 paces when he is abroad! And a cricket one!Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

I think the beer is the lure.....the cricket is just the cherry on top.

I looked at sending "real ale" out there. It was Way too expensive, so that ensures he'll come home occasionally.

Mr.b walks along the canal to get his real ale fix. A choice of 6there, and when real ale festival is on, i never see him..bliss:rotfl:
He also likes going to a pub in Skipton to get a fix of some ale named after a sheep...Go figure eh
( but he is half welsh:rolleyes: ) so am i come to think of it:rotfl: Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
