Please tell me what to do. I found droppings this morning.
I think I know where they're getting in.

    Bluddy useless cat

I would have the mouse lover squad after me if i did that, oh well live dangerously..

In the past i have used poison bought from general hardware shop...very good for back of cupboards ( council would do the same)

You can buy humane traps and then release them back in the wild.*cough*

Or you can use a vax hoover( the drum ones..not general hoover) and suck them up when you catch them... ( very quick and painless)

We used to have a good mouser as well! Spike..was brill at catching any mice:T But she would play with them, so i prefer a quick painless method.

Then get one of those electronic plug in devices and it keeps them away from house..mine has worked for a number of years.

    Apologies...but it all works:o

    Thanks Bob,
we got them out of the loft with the sonic thingies, but have driven them downstairs :p
So now we each have a sonic deterrent in our bedrooms and that seems to have worked. (we're in a bungalow so there's no more downstairs)

As I'm not going to the aged P's this weekend i'm going to empty the sitting room onto the Patio, vaccuum up the mouses poo, and any stray mice and when I put it back it'll be home sweet home again :D

And when DD returns tonight I'm going to ensure I have my own personal taxi service to the meet. Are you going peb?
  • I also forgot where there are droppings there will be wee, so shampoo over it as the smell will attract others..so a council pest controller once told me, he also said they are incontinent so wash and disinfect any where they have been..
I hate them in houses, the tales he could tell about them...turns your stomach..

And Popeye (he loves his nickname btw, he thinks he's Gene Hackman ;) )
will probably never see his car again.

Plus the insurance [STRIKE]boogers[/STRIKE] claim people are saying that as he drove to a different office from his usual one he [STRIKE]is[/STRIKE] was using his car for "business purposes" and is therefore not covered
He is now out on site and struggling to make contact phone or otherwise with anyone, let alone argue with a jobsworth.

    Well Day 48 :D
I need to alter my signature, not my weight loss  but I haven't added in some bits of money for so long, that I need to calculate all the little bits from the beginning so I neither miss nor double count anything. :o

Popeye is feeling a bit better. It looks better news on the insurance front - though anything would look better than a NIL payout. But replacing the car is almost def. going to cost more than the insurance payout, it is just a matter of how much more.

But I've been looking at our spreadsheets and I'm looking forward to up-dating the total debt at the month end.

4 items have bids. I seem to have questions everyday and I ought to list more.....

But work is so much more comfortable with FK away on holiday. I think I might say so when she returns; if I'm feeling brave enough. :o

Jack Harkness has just been snogging on TV, I find that *distracting* :o :rotfl:
  • I would find that distracting as well...hmm!

Hope the ebay items go for loads of dosh!

I really have not done enough for my challenge.
    • weight loss stalled
    • gardening slow, and it keeps raining
    • extra income stalled
    • writing? :o
I'm not sure how to kick start myself.
    Everything is drifting.

I live my life waiting to see Popeye, and today I feel I can't even do a simple 4-part challenge. :o to occupy myself.

But you have still achieved a good amount! How much would you have achieved if Popeye had been at home? Probably not half as much!

    So.....pat yourself on the back!

and then give yourself that kick up the backside :D

Writing! I know you love the writing, and I know you find it difficult - what are the bits that you enjoy? Research? Dialogue?

Or..... what would Popeye like to see when he comes home? How would you like to greet him (no !!!!!! here! as in, look, Popeye, look at this!)....

Any good? Sending hugs your way.
