    Day 43
I must get this challenge back on track :o I'm going to do a Hypno-esque (i.e. detailed) list of things to do and come back and up-date.
    1. write to Barclaycard and M&S to cancel my cards which have now been rolled onto a 0% Cap 1 card. I can write Popeyes M&S & Barclaycard letters, but they won't be signed until September.Done my letters. Used Popeyes balance to buy something in M&S - through Quidco, free delivery :o
    2. Check drawer to see if any other credit card accounts exist that should be closed (never closed them in the past, kept them "just in case" :o )
    3. Double-check that the standing orders to those 4 cards ARE cancelled :o
    4. Cancel travel insurance "automatic renewal" and buy next years through Quidco, even if it turns out to be the same company :rotfl: how very dare they automatically renew me :D
    5. Weed the front garden if it stays fine. Did one hour 50% :D
    6. Start filing paperwork - that's this weekends job, the basket we keep the stuff in until we file it is over-flowing.
    7. Supper is a de-frosting lasagne so no thought required.
    8. But I will have to menu plan for next week. It looks like DS1 is visiting too, so a full house :D:D

Well I've done some gardening. You're right Weeding? Yuk
The layer of bindweed down the left hand side of the garden has been removed. :D:D

    DS2 & I have curled up with House (again :o )

And I'm going to go to bed, just as soon as Popeye has been on line and I can Skype him. :D In the meantime I can hang around here :D:D

I've done a couple of letters and I have a heap from the drawer to go through for other cancellable credit cards. :D

Oi, there is nothing wrong with vegging from time to time (although I still have to iron OH a shirt for work in the morning so I will have to move soon!)

    :D

I wouldn't be up this early out of choice ;) But Popeye catches a plane to somewhere remote today, and apart from an occasional e-mail when his edge card ( ) works and a few pence on a UK mobile he will be incommunicado until next weekend.

Somehow we've done some damage to the web-cam. My camera only transmits a black screen. Nice for me, I look a bit worse for wear this am ;) but frustrating because it is beyond my ability to deal with it. :o DS2 fiddled last night, but it isn't a priority for him.

And it's chucking it down again  So today I will:
    1. continue with the filing I started.
    2. list some 99p stuff on e-bay.
    3. Get some of DD's boxes into the loft. I've decided to keep my eye out for some wardrobes on Freecycle, because although she has a large room, she doesn't have much storage.
    4. menu plan/list make/shop trying to use the freezer stuff as much as possible, the apples are beginning to arrive.....
I'm glad I worked on the front garden last night, I think this weather is going to last.....

It is currently dry here......but how long that will last is anyone's guess!

I am still in my dressing gown, but I need to start thinking about moving.......thinking is good........but actually moving might have to wait until this coffee is finished :o

I hope you get your list completed - it looks fairly daunting to me.......or is that just because I am being a lazy mare today :D

This weather is depressing  My mum & Dad are always asking me to move down to their remote village in Kent miles from an Indian takeaway to look after them :o They sell it to me by saying that they get very little rainfall..........(I still wouldn't want to bury myself there :D )

I think Norfolk gets low average rain too?

Oh and I'm still in my (actually Popeyes:o ) dressing gown too

I think we do get less than average rain, but we still get a lot of the stuff, and when it rains, it sure does rain!!!

    Miles from an indian takeaway..........
