And any other swear words you want.
He can ill-afford the time it's taking to sort out with the police.
But his boss has sorted a hire car (company paying :j ) until he gets a replacement.
Our cunning plan to pick an innocuous car back-fired, it's apparently perfect as a getaway car...........0 -

Well I've Skyped him
He's disgruntled.
The insurance won't pay out for a theft for at least four weeks, which will coincide almost exactly with the final payment on the loan. :rotfl:
All in all [STRIKE]we [/STRIKE] he is going to be about £1500 down on the value of the car v what the insurance will pay out
We're going to need considerably more squares to colour in.:D0 -
Day 41 - Half-way :j :j It's downhill all the way from here
Yesterday I asked DS2 if he would see if the health-food shop stocked Tahini paste as he was going past it on his way to the Job Agency. He did that for me, he didn't buy any, he just checked they had any in stock  :rotfl:
Guess where he's going today?
Bad news:- Abel & Cole rejected my claim through Quidco -there was some bother with my initial order and that is why. But in 20 months that is my very first entry in the column -Claim Denied
- DS1's car IS a write off. Though he is hoping to buy it from the insurance company and rebuild it at a cost of a few hundred to him after the insurance payout. But he'll lose his NCB and he's only 21....
- Popeye's car has gone, and he has suggested that I might like to spend some of my holiday in September helping him choose a new one
(I think he regards it as a treat, or maybe he's hoping I'll find some extra money for it somewhere :rotfl: )
- Edict from my boss. Going into the office 2-3 hours early will NOT count towards the extra days I need. The ONLY extra time that will count is at the weekend. Guess who is now sticking to 9-5 Mon-Fri?

Good news on being half way!
But  to all the crappy things happening. (with a bit of  to the car buying holiday!)

Thats a *lot* of bad news, Olive - all the way from daft DSs at health stores to very big stuff. Sorry times are hard, and lots of dodgy hugs being sent your way.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Oh commiserations -what a run of bad luck. Good for Popeye thinking he can fix that car.
But on the upside - you will shortly have Tahini! I am quite addicted to the stuff and Sainsbury's has a strange policy of only occasionally stocking it - and seemingly only ordering one jar at a time.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620
