Well, I have ordered varifocals with matching magnetc sunglasses for OH and sunglasses for me total cost 97$ inc shipping (from Hong Kong) so will let you know how we get on and if they arrive in Spain

Zennioptical sent me an email last Thursday saying the glasses had been shipped, also gave me a tracking reference number, so far nothing in the post and no trace of the tracking number on the shipping site. Grrrrrr....

The tracking number thing never worked for me either....I thought I was doing it wrong...AND I waited awhile to try????

I got 2 orders from Zenni..the last order had to be reordered...so I'm well happy with the service xxx

How long did it take your order to arrive after the useless tracking number notification?

Hi As a spec virgin, having been prescribed glasses this morning,
I have spent half the afternoon going around every optician I could find in Northampton, and totally bewildered having got different advice from each retailer !
seen an array of lenses and different frames, offers / prices (from under £100 to over £500)

Now having looked on this forum have ordered from www.glassesdirect.co.uk
ordered frames to try on first @£3.75,will see they looks good?

Welcome to the specs club! I and several of my friends have used glassdirect on a number of occassions and they've always been great. Many of the specs are just as good as the over-priced high street ones and they have a really good return policy if you're not happy.
  • Hi guys, just new to this site. I pretty much work in the industry of optics online and if you have any questions feel free to post them here and I'll try to reply the best way I can. Cheers!

Hey, my glasses broke today and my dad went to get them fixed at the opticians, and my optician has become a clothes shop! Going to get a prescription from Specsavers hopefully this week, just wondering how long goggles4u take to deliver?

    Hey Nicole,

Too bad your glasses broke. I recently ordered from goggles4u - I ordered on a Saturday afternoon, opted for Express Delivery which is an additional $12 (or approx £6) and got it by Thursday morning !!! Thats just 4 working days !!

I think I read quite a few posts from people who got them in 15 days (not sure whether that includes weekends or not) under the normal free delivery service. Was pleased with the glasses as well - not exceptional quality but well worth the price you pay.

    Hope this helps

Generally, it really depends on what type of glasses you are getting. For single-vision glasses, processing time usually takes around 2-3 days, depending on the workload for the day, but for special orders like Bifocals / Progressives / Single visions with really high spheres, it takes a bit more time.
