Does anyone know where I can get larger aviatoir style frames from. Husband has v.old pair of carbon fibre frames from specsavers, about 10 yrs ago and they broke, but specsavers don't do them anymore, and everywhere we look there is these little designer frames, but he needs, in his words, big windows to see out of. All the styles on the online opticions are too small . Is anyone an independant opticion who has access to a catalogue of sorts. We are clutching at straws now, but desperately need new ones. Cheers0

Hi all,
I must say that I was looking foreward to saving money on the rip off prices that I have paid at some opticians but have been dissapointed to see that most online retailers don't supply varifocals ( and those seem to advise against buying from those that do on the grounds of poor measurements).
Can anyone advise of any companies that might visit and measure or else advise of results from "those that do" .
Thanks.

I ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses from perfect specs and unfortunately i must have given them the wrong prescription (it was a update one, i think i just didn't understand it!) as they are so strong and i only tried them once and felt sick after, has anyone tried getting a refund from them and got it?
Should i say its the wrong prescription (as it appears to be my fault it is!) or just say they didn't fit?Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -

I would just get them to check the lenses were done correctly. You may have got it right while filling in the prescription online and Perfect Specs may have made an error. I've had a pair of lenses made incorrectly at a high street optician before.0
