for your entry into the Impulse Romance Revolution competition. We unfortunately experienced some technical problems with the website on Tuesday 15th July and therefore you did not receive the correct e-mail from us and may have received an error message. We apologise for this and can assure you this problem has now been rectified.

won a download so I can add that to my signature:rotfl:

Hi, I got the same message from Impulse (about the error and the prize being an MP3 download) as everyone else this lunchtime but could not post as work computer allows me to read but not post!

I emailed them back and said there must have been a BIG mistake as I had already had a download email and the emails were completely different etc etc and perhaps they could check again. They basically emailed me back and said no, it was not a mistake, the prize was a  download.

I emailed them again and said in that case I would now consider my options about taking it further as I knew that type of email warranted a better prize than an MP3 email.

I then contacted Impulse/Unilever via the Impulse website saying that after the huge disappointment this had caused, the least they could do was come up with some sort of compensatory 'goody bag' (following on from that brilliant idea last night of Munchkim's). Now awaiting a reply.

I agree with Toniq, it would be worth us all contacting them about this until we get a satisfactory resolution - I find usually they hope you will go away after a couple of soppy replies and you need to come back at them at least three times to get them to realise you won't just lie down and roll over.

yep i got the same email as toniq, violetta etc. you 're both right we should complain as they are trying to fob us off, i've already won about 4 downloads and they tell you on the website when you've won they don't email after like they do with the decent prizes.
Anyhow i'll send my letter of complaint and let you know how it goes....

btw have a great time in bruges sparky

I used the email listed on the contact us page of the comp as it says:

We'd love to hear from you if you’ve got something to say - like what you think of our fragrances, for example. So if you'd like a word, or have anything to share, contact us at impulse@unileverconsumerlink.co.uk

So I think this counts :D
