yep definately just a little 25g butter, but it's still moist I think because of the soaked fruit.
I don't think you can taste the tea, unless you use something powerful like earl grey or lapsang souchong! But you could try it with and without and give the tea one to the DH and visitors if you don't like it:D?!

- chop up onions and drop in a pan with enough water to cover, and cook until soft
- throw in dried sage (rosemary, thyme or whatever ones you like) salt and lots of pepper
- throw in leftover bread -i just rip it into chunks as we like "chunky" stuffing but you can always blitz them in a machine)
- Bash it to death -you may need to add a drop more water -depending on if you want sloppy stuffing or want to roll it into balls
- you can also add a skinned sausage -when I do this im quite happy to go without chicken
..oh and if you have an egg that needs using up you can beat that in too -off the heat
- then simply ball or tip over belly pork and cook mmmmm
Morning peeps
Mrs M do you cook the stuffing balls before freezing? or do you put the "raw" balls in the freezer? Just wondering if freezing the oven cooked balls works or if they go a bit soggy?:o

Has what ? A tattooed bum ?
I haven't got a tattooed bum, but I do have a tattooed shoulder, and also a tattoo on the same level as my bum, only round the front. If you see what I mean...
BOB, I skim-read your post at first (naughty me, I know, and I do apologise), so I thought you said "where else can you have a cup of tea and get a recipe for tattooed bums"... Blimey, I thought, pigs head and trotters were only a start then, were they... :eek:0 -
going to make some lemon curd this weekend or maybe this evening. Anyone know how much that microwave recipe makes as I am filling 12oz jars!! Still have about 70 of them left!
munchki if you mean the recipe I posted for lemon curd,(I only finish it in the micro btw)it makes enough to fill 1 standard jam jar perfectly. By standard I mean a 454g size one. dunno how much that is in oz0 -
Hi all, here is my recipe for mexican chicken and beans
1 chicken breast (or thighs thx weezl) pre cooked so good for using up left overs
1 jar Mr T taco chilli beans (could use any others)
1 jar salsa
2 tspn cumin
1 bag value tortilla chips
a couple of spring onions or some chives
some chopped up tomato (however much you fancy)
1 small pot of sour cream
some grated cheese
put the tortilla chips in the bottom of a casserole dish, shred the chicken then put in a pan with the beans ,salsa and cumin, heat through then pour over the top of the chips, pour over the sour cream then put the chopped tomatoes, spring onions and cheese on the top, bung in the oven for 20 - 30 mins at 180c ,its ready when its all bubbly. Sorry its not very precise but I just kind of throw stuff together and hope it works, this one is very nice. You can make it spicier by adding taco sauce if you likekonMarie and fabbing all the way
