Happy Birthday, ISOM!! Hope you have a fab day! I'm feeling all frugal with renewed vigour now! :D I must get some more of my cross-stitch done, and resist them temptation to go into town. However, lots of meal planning for me today so I'm going to try and make them REALLY frugalistic :D

    :T :T :T CONGRATULATIONS MR AND MRS W:T :T :T

    AND

    :T :T :T HAPPY BIRTHDAY ISOM:T :T :T

I'll second - or third, or fourth, or whatever - that !

And I will also add my vote to the "50p per person means 50p per person, and now you are three" option !

Weezl, it does need to be said, though - if Junior decides that he would not be very frugal just yet, thank you very much, and starts telling you to eat all sorts of non-budget funky stuff, and you decide that you really oughta listen to him, then do so, and no one will think any less of you for it. You've managed to achieve something pretty amazing already on next to money, and if further challenges are to be put on the back burner for now, so be it - plenty of time to be frugal once Junior is out !

I was vegetarian when I was expecting my daughter, and somewhere around the five month mark, I developed a keep-you-awake-at-night type of craving for bacon butties. There was no denying it - I had to have bacon (and sneakily at that, as ex husband was a militant off-with-meat-eaters heads type of vegetarian), and bacon I had.

Strangely, though - I am not vegetarian any longer, and DD has been eating meat since she was 6 or thereabouts - until early this year when she decided to be vegetarian again.

Just goes to show - when it comes to kids, stuff very rarely makes sense. Be warned.... ;)
