    Evening all

    Welcome new people  .

CELYN90 sorry to hear about your studying, it really is a nightmare.

CHURCHMOUSE ouch, gentle hugs to you.

Can't get involved in discussions about Wimbeldon as I don't follow it. I always support anyone from any of the four countries, being a mix of at least three of them!

Looked at quite a few papers this morning, then went to the allotment after garden club at the school. Did some digging, it was so hot. My little robin seemed very happy to see me. DS's friend has just gone home, off to do some watering.

    Have a good night all.

    Hello everyone! :hello:

I've not been in here for ages! Things have been pretty busy, and I've needed to spend time on college work - it was best for me to stay away or I wouldn't have got it done on time. Anyway that's all finished now, I enjoyed the course but I'm glad to have more time for myself.

You'd think I'd have more to say for myself as I've not been on here for ages but I've not. I don't know who needs hugs so you can all have one ((((HUGS))))

PenPin, glad you are home - don't know about you but I always sleep better in my own bed!

Dorry, did answer you on the thread the other day, but it was late at night so you may not have seen it - yes, I'm on FB too (in the MSE Nerds group). Don't go on that often, but it's entertaining occasionally!

Done nothing much except sit on the sofa feeling headachy today, even fell asleep about 3.30for a while. Have been busy making my builders tea though, and did sausage & onion baguettes for lunch for them :) Bathroom is starting to come together now, it's very exciting :):)

Glad to hear Martyn is alive & well still, hope you're enjoying your break CharliesMum.
Dogrose, that sounds like good news for you?

    Hiya :hello:

Just popped on to say 'hello'. I've not been on the computer for a few days as I just seem to be so busy. I'm sure that the days, hours and minutes are getting shorter.

Hope everyone is healthy and happy? :D

On Sunday we went to a church family fun day and had a great time sitting in the warm sun, eating bbq food cooked by someone else, having a drink or 2 or 3 and we ended it with a adult/child game of rounders, boys versus girls with lots of cheating! :rotfl:

Yesterday I kept DD2 off school as she was still recovering from conjunctivitis, so she was dragged around Aldi and Tesco while I did the grocery shopping. I used some of the (rubber) chicken in stock from the freezer to make some chicken and leek pies and then popped a couple of pies into the freezer.

Today I helped at the church drop-in, cleaned the house, did the ironing, did the school run, got the girls' haircut and made a huge pan of spag bol for tea and for the freezer. One of the 91 year old ladies from church made some lovely eccles cakes for the church helpers so they were scoffed quickly after the spag bol.:D

Tomorrow is the Year 7 taster day in Liverpool so DD1 is spending the day at the new school that she will be going to in September, so she's really excited.

We fly to Australia in 3 weeks time for our big holiday. :D I need to get organised for that, but there just seem to be so many things going on at school, church and at home. My school break up in 2 weeks time so I'm lucky to have almost a week to finally get organised before we go.;)

Right I need to wash my hair so hope you have a good evening! :D
