Good morning everyone
I haven't posted for a couple of days so I have no idea what I've missed. Apologies and (((hugs))). I have gathered that kyle's DS has had a birthday so belated birthday wishes to him.
twink hope the outing goes well today.
anniestar (((hugs))) to you and yours.
((((hugs)))) to anyone else I have missed - it isn't deliberate.
Supposed to be my day off today but I will be going into w**k later as we are just so busy. The money comes in handy so I won't grumble - too much.
I have an appointment with the nurse this morning to be weighed and have my b/p checked. Don't know whether she will shout at me or not but I reckon I have lost more than the 4lbs she wanted me to lose so hopefully not.
DD is playing in a rounders tournament today. Fingers crossed for them but I don't hold out much hope as they have had very little practice (why have a rounders club when you are going to cancel every second week?
).
As it's only me and DS for dinner, I will make a curry from the defrosted chicken in the fridge. Lunch will be some HM butternut squash and sweet potato soup. Breakfast will be fruit.
WM is on and will put the BM on shortly too. It's a gorgeous morning here so I will hang the washing out before I head off to the surgery.
I posted last week about the delivery of my Christy towels and how I had to collect them from the depot and when I got there the parcel was open. I e-mailed Christy to complain. They have e-mailed me back to say the delivery charge will be refunded. :j
Need to phone the Financial Services Compensation Scheme as I haven't heard anything further about my claim following the collapse of my local credit union. another job on the list for today.
Have a tremendous Tuesday. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Glorious day here too!
Donny-gal - apparently they weren't complaining - this transpired after they demanded to know what was wrong. Hmph.0 -
Morning all!
2 days off now:j got lots of jobs planned to fill my time as usual.
Have had a blitz throught the house - cleaned the bathroom and done the bathroom and kitchen floors with bleach, also vacuumed the lounge and bedroom and done 1 load of washing so far, next on the list is to put the BM on, was too tired last night as I didn't finish work till 10.30pm.
Nothing else much to report here so far.
Happy Anniversay Pippa.s and DH:beer: hope you enjoy your day.
(((hugs))) to Anniestar, PP, Hester and anyone else in need of one x

Morning all
Not been on for a few days, have been reading the thread but nothing really to post so thought I wouldn't bore you all
Have hoovered through up and down, cleaned the bathroom, washing hung out, dishwasher emptied and kitchen, bathroom and downstairs loo floors washed. Phew am pooped now. Wanted to get it done before it got too hot and sticky. Looks lovely out there. Will do a pile of ironing soon and might have half an hour in the sun later.
Well wasn't the Murray match last night exciting, couldn't believe the comeback he made:j Don't think he will manage to get past Nadal next though. Still, there is always next year.
Hugs to everyone0 -
Just a quick one to say good morning at the moment, feel a bit head/neck achy this morning so not being on laptop long. Builders working on bathroom again, hopefully by tomorrow it will be virtually finished

((((hugs))))) for those needing them.

Hello everybody,
DSis told me of the big sale that KMart were having today in the toy dept. Everything 50% off. So I raced in there and it's on the 3rd July. All was not lost, as I did get a few other things.
Got a txt from MeanieMarie
today. She was in Adelaide airport waiting for her plane. She's off to Singapore now for a couple of nights then home sweet home. She's had a great time. Well of course she has. She's just visited the best country in the world.:p:D
Bookie You;ve missed a lot. Twink's found herself a fella. Bit of an old ram if you ask me.
I see Lleyton got whipped. Hopefully Murry will get booted out next round.
Please send up your prayers.
Pippa Happy Anniversary. I'm toasting you with a red as I type.
I'm off to have a shower. Hope you all have a nice day. ByeeeeeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.

Hi all - back on here with a coffee having changed the sheets which are now blowing on the line in this lovely weather, started packing for my weekend away, phoned my Mum, written two letters which I shall go and post in a minute, and dusted and hoovered right through the house. I'm feeling very virtuous now!
Beth - by all accounts the Remoska is a great saver of cooking costs! That's the reason I bought it plus there is a Remoska thread on here which really sings it's praises. I went through Quidco and got 4% off, plus Lakeland do free delivery for orders over £50 and I chose the scissor block as my free gift.I may have already mentioned that! Lakeland have just emailed me to say it has been despatched. I can't wait to try it!
Pippa.S - here is the link to the Remoska
http://www.lakeland.co.uk/F/product/2511 You can only buy it through Lakeland but see my comment to Beth about getting cashback through Quidco!
I don't know why my font is smaller now!
Am I the only one not rooting for Andy Murray? I'll never forget how juvenile and uncharitable he was when England were knocked out of the last World Cup. He was delighted! I don't think he deserves the adoration and support of the British after the remarks he made. I'm sorry if I've offended anyone but, well, he annoyed me and there was no need for it. Richard Gasquet is far more handsome, too! Rant over!
Well, I've just had a look online at the cottage where we're going for the hen do on Friday. It's abolute luxury! A beautiful farmhouse in 60 acres of Devon countryside with an indoor pool, steam room and jacuzzi, a mini-gym and indoor games, outdoor trampoline, tennis and Badminton courts, bikes to ride, farm animals to look at, a sun terrace, plenty of bedrooms so most of us will have our own and luxury accommodation! All this for a total of £80 each for two nights which I think is brilliant. We're all taking contributions for breakfasts and lunches but having a takeway the first night and going out for a meal and drinks on the Saturday night. We'll lounge around all day Saturday (hope the sun is still shining then!) and on Sunday we will go to Haytor which is where DS2 proposed to my lovely future DIL - it's their favourite place. The lads have chosen Nottingham for the stag weekend - 18 of them!
Anyway, I can't wait to go. I know all the girls and the bride's Mum fairly well so I'm sure we'll have a lovely girly time!
Well, I'd better go and get these letters posted.
See you all later.
