Hope you're feeling better soon Michelle.
Rain has now stopped so I've managed to get some washing on the line. Doing everything apart from my whites on a quick wash today to get through everything as while I was sorting all the bedrooms out, I found numerous socks, T-shirts, etc. on the floor, under beds and so forth.
DH just making some sandwiches for dinner.
I'm still sorting out everyone's clothes!NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

Its raining heavens hard here now too.
Went to MK this morning to get DS a watch for doing so well in his swimming gala and DD a jewellery box for passing her dance exams and going up a level in swimming.
Got home and noticed a disgusting smell in the house. Blamed the cat lol but when it didn't go away started investigating. Someone had turned my freezer off. This is the freezer that I filled up with £100 worth of meat last Monday. The smell was disgusting.
We shall be living on vegetables for the month because I can't afford to refill it.
Hope everyone has had a better day than me. Only upside -freezer doesn't need defrosting now and the kitchen is clean.
I found one of my freezers turned off a couple of weeks back. I cooked all the sausages and mince then refroze it all. The chicken breast I cooked the whole lot in one go and then we had chicken every day for three days, for lunch as well as dinner. Because it had to be eaten quickly we had much more meat than usual and now have none left. That was the meat for the month and I had all my menus planned. They are now getting sick of veggie meals but I am not relenting. I can't afford to buy it again. DS3 dmitted it was him. He unplugged the freezer to show his friend his new mains torch for the car!!!
The insurance company told methat although we have accidental damage insurance freezer contents are only covered for breakdown.
All the other stuff, bread, frozen veg etc has had to be thrown out as we couldn'teat it all. Hens have enjoyed the bread.
Today the sons are all working on the living room so we will have to get it cleaned later. We have so much building/decorating work being done this weekend things might start to move along a bit faster in the house.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Hi all.
Sorry I've not been around for a few days. The rest of this week has kind of gone out of the window and my house has turned back into the tip that it was last week  .
Going to try to get stuck in today and get at least downstairs sorted again, but will join the thread again tomorrow.
Hope you're all doing well and having a lovely weekend. xStarted comping 29/10/2010

prettypennies what about this one ? http://www.billingtons.co.uk/home/recipes/12/gooseberry-sauce
So maybe with the pork?
poohbear, well done for getting through that and not giving up, must admit I'd have done the same or made the guilty one replace it all. I am a veggie lover to be honest, living on veg meals would be a treat for me, however the rest of the family would starve!
cokie, don't panic you'll have it sorted in no time, you've done it before you can do it again
Not done much so far, the boys for a change are playing nicely together, they did clear their toys up from the LR etc to their bedrooms, but now are bringing other stuff down to play in the conservatory, oh well, not as if they can play outside much with the rain on/off all day, then can get them to tidy it up later.
Fridge smell is a puzzle, nothing seems to be smelly....One day I might be more organised...........

I'm having a slight panic with all this rain. Before I broke my wrist I was trying to earn £600 to replace part of roof. Obviously i've earnt next to nothing...I need to find a way to save money to pay for it as I don't think it'll last another winter.
On the plus side...i've probably found half the money by being extremely tight with spending and cutting the grocery bill so that's good. I probably only need to find about £3000 now. Mmmmmmm?!?!!!?0 -
