Morning everyone, raining here and very grey skys. Kids are hyper already, don't know where they find the energy.
Plan today is to do some flying, dinner, shower and then down to see my ones and then hubby should be home.
Cuppa first...Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Boddy - what you say is so true. I'm really trying to make more time for my parents. I've mnaged to lock myself out of my friends house where i'm feeding the cat. Her mum has, thankfully, got a key so now i'm waiting in for her to bring the key round. Few more hours of freedom here so need to decide what to do xx0

I can confirm what Mabboo said about the Dorset weather - we've strong winds and a lot of wet stuff and it's dark and gloomy. A staying in day today I think! Looking at the rainfall radar and the satellite images on the Met Office's website, it looks like it's going to stay this way most of the day. Never mind, at least I got the washing done yesterday.
Hope everyone is ok, just off to do the food shop. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Just sorting out DDs clothes to see what I can get rid of and also what I can get away with putting to one side ready for our holiday.
Got paid last week which has got to last me for the whole of the school hols and I've already spent half of it! Swimming lessons @ £80 didn't help!
I've also stripped DS's bed - haven't made it yet - he wants his new Ben 10 quilt cover on.
WM x 3
TD x 2
Chicken's in oven ready for dinner so I'm getting somewhere - better carry on with these clothes.
Catch you later

Thank you for all the good selling vibes, we need them! I've even offered to pay their mortgage for them so they can move out but they need the sale money to pay debts I think, then they'll probably build them back up again, I do feel more like the parent sometimes having to nag them.
boddy, just keep holding on to the date in your head when it'll all be over and you will be retired, I know a few people close to retirement and they all seem fed up and just want to be out. Bad managers are as much use as a chocolate fireguard, I've worked for many managers who couldn't manage.
juliejim pleased to hear you've got the windows sorted
prettypennies ours always get washed until they don't come clean. I have some very light summer ones, about 5 tog I think which then on the boys beds in winter get doubled up, they go in the washer easily. Winter kingsize I usually have to take to the laundrette, but the summer one goes in.
Back in a mo with a 'left to do list' remembered I haven't got the meat out of the freezer (defrost on the fanoven will save the day again!) and DP needs getting up so he can go out. Wondering if I should brave hanging laundry out, not raining but it does look like it's going to....One day I might be more organised...........

Morning ladies.
I had a lie in till about 9:30 - never mind how many times i have been awake through the night. I had to get up then as ds2 needed feeding again, but i probably would have slept all day if left. I am shattered and feeling so ill. My voice is virtually non-existent. I am really glad it is the weekend.
I've managed some breakie, i just had some of the fruit loaf i made last night and it was nice. A bit floury on the crusts, but light, airy and not a bad effort from me - my loafs normally don't rise well at all. I really hope ds1 likes it.
Our plans for today are to pop to JL to look at a sofa bed in their clearance sale, and taking the boys to DHs cousins boys 2nd birthday party. Not much else will be happening here, i might get the WM on a couple of times as i am running out of undies and there are a lot of baby clothes knocking around.
have a lovely day ladies.

Michelle hope you feel better as the day goes on.
Stepped one foot out of the door and got dripped on, so the laundry will be hanging up inside today, silly weather!
DP gone out, he offered to take DS2 with him, but like I said 'why when he'll be bored? ' he does these things I think so he doesn't feel guilty about being out most Sundays (he sleeps most of Saturdays and is doing his cars when he is awake ready for the Sunday) but it just ends up DS2 going with him, getting into mischief or just annoying him because there is nothing for him to do there and then comes back upset after being shouted at, what's the point? I'd rather keep him at home and happy!
Oh, that turned into a bit of a rantsorry. Right, today, well what is left of it, I need to

Not getting through my list very quickly.
I have just finished the ironing mountain. I usually like to watch a nice old movie to make the chore more bearable. But DH has decided not to go to golf today and he has plonked himself on the sofa remote in hand (farting like a trooper -uugh), flicking through countless sports channels. He has now put the Grand Prix on which I hate with a passion. I am off to tidy the kitchen.Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0 -

Afternoon all
One load of washing hung upstairs. Rained all night and first thing, then it brightened up but we just had a heavy shower so it's staying indoors today I think.
Dusted living room and vacuumed right through downstairs. Prepped veggies but I'm not cooking until teatime today.0
