I dont know how the Flogas ordering page looks like but I would expect it to state your price for the month/order at the point you press the button.
To echo the comments before, yes check your contract and see what stage you are at.0 -

To echo the comments before, yes check your contract and see what stage you are at.I'm with flogas, at present. Their website makes no mention anywhere, of your contract or the price you are paying. To find that out, you have two options: (a) find the last invoice they sent you, by email or post .. that will specify. Or (b) phone them and ask. Those seem to be the only options.
If what I said helped you, please "Thank" the relevant post. It cheers me up somewhat..0 -
Go into delivery history then view delivery. That will give you the price you are paying per litre and the standing charge.JerryW said:Sorting_Hat said:I dont know how the Flogas ordering page looks like but I would expect it to state your price for the month/order at the point you press the button.

No. it doesn't. Not on my account, anyway. It gives a £ total but no pricesjustwhat said:Go into delivery history then view delivery. That will give you the price you are paying per litre and the standing charge.

Just to confirm, yes, I am out of contract.
I was on hold to speak to Flogas for an hour yesterday and they re-iterated that 82.95p/l is their best and only offer.

Wow, and I thought that my recent increase from 33ppl to 38ppl was extortionate!markmorgan said:Just to confirm, yes, I am out of contract.

I was on hold to speak to Flogas for an hour yesterday and they re-iterated that 82.95p/l is their best and only offer. You have been badly, and possibly illegally, treated. But that couldn't have happened unless you have ignored letters, emails, that sort of thing? Clearly, money is not your driving force!.. Time to get moving now, and find better. You should get quotes from whoever can supply you locally, and maybe you could do worse than speaking to Robert Flaxman (LPG Save) in person and asking him to help you get recompense.I suspect you have dug your own hole here, but anyway I hope you can clamber out of it soon and wish you well..JerryIf what I said helped you, please "Thank" the relevant post. Perhaps that is way of inviting you to change suppliers? The 80 odd ppl I mean?0

Hello Mister_G - did you have a contract for the first 2 years or are you saying that you have always just called HBS when you needed to fill the tank (no contract/no paperwork/nothing else at all)?Mister_G said:
Yes, having had LPG for the past 38 years, I know how it is supposed to work.Sorting_Hat said:
As you know the exclusivity period is the 2 years ie the bit where you cant switch. After that all agreements become in effect rolling contracts (ie its still their tank and only they can fill) but your free to switch if you want. Mostly at this stage LPG firms would put you on a variable rate.Mister_G said:
No, they don't. I also do not have a fixed term contract with them.Sorting_Hat said:
Do HBS not charge you to rent their tank from them? Ive heard of another independent that does similar.Mister_G said:Well it looks like the recent gas price increases have finally hit the LPG market.
I've just filled up (1000 litres) at 38ppl, that's 5ppl more than earlier in the year.
That works out at 6.3p/kWh, which I suppose is still a lot better than the current wholesale prices!
At least I don't have to pay a daily service charge!
Rare though.
I've never had a contract or agreement with them (no paperwork and nothing signed). Yes. it is a variable rate but I must admit this is the first time that it has gone up recently.
We have a buying group in the village and we have managed to secure preferential rates.
Asking because I am about to move to a property served by a LPG underground tank and I would like to avoid to rely on Calor/Flogas/Avanti if possible after reading many complaints about their contracts and standards here and there.0
