Not too bad today, slow cooker pork was loverleeeee, and some left to freeze too. Spent a few pounds, but not from grocery budget so on track. Have actually withdrawn £50 in total for food, but only spent £34.50 of that so hoping the £15 will last a good few days before needing to take any more money from Grocery budget. Just can't seem to empty the freezer as always sticking leftovers in there lol!

Hi SFT - hope you got on ok today. I used to be a teacher (I love saying that!)and about 15 years ago I had a parent who started being very aggressive and making complaints. She accused me of not setting homework among other things, but when she came into school for a 'showdown' meeting with me and my line manager I was able to show that I had set the work as I kept detailed written records. She was a lawyer though and continued to 'attack' me to my Head. So he advised me to consult my union and refuse to speak to her until I had got their advice. When she was told this was what I was doing she backed down and left me alone. But it left a nasty taste - so hugs to you - hope you're ok.

A NSD for me today - it has to be as my new month doesn't officially start till Thursday. I have done an online shop for delivery then - but only for the dry goods - tinned and packet stuff. I like to choose my own fruit and veg and meat - and to buy it fresh each week. HTH those who were asking about the pros and cons of online shopping.

Off to finish supper prep. Cold chicken and salad and jacket potatoes - hopefully there will be chicken left over for chicken and rice tomorrow.

StopTheMadness Hi, and welcome to the GC.....It's up to you what you include in your budget. Personally i include toiletries, cleaning supplies, take aways(as it stops me from having too many:)) & alcohol. Some leave out the alcohol and have a seperate budget for that. So it's where you think will help you the most :D
May GC £350/ spent so far

Weetabix 24's are on 2 for £2 til 15/07 but they were out of stock so got a price promise voucher, as that is cheaper than Mr T own 48's..

Does anyone know if/how you can get a price promise voucher when you do an on-line shop? I find the best offers are often out of stock, then they send an expensive replacement which I nearly always reject, leaving me short of something.

Had a good day today with some great secret news I cannot share just yet so head down and smiling to myself I have just planned 2 weeks of lunches and snacks for when my guests are here courtesy of a couple of cook books on a lend and a litle imagination.

Also have a bunch of children friendly local activities to do like minigolf, beach, local Spanish childrens play area, water park etc.

Love to plan and write a list.Tonight the kids had spag bol and took a steaming bowlful to neghbour who's wife is back in the UK on business for a ouple of weeks and stillhad enough for 1 portion of leftovers for Thursday night.

Have got packed lunch food and cakes for next couple of days including HM cheese and marmite twists ( Thanks MRSM )

Easy meals this week like jkts, pasta pesto, leftovers and chicken with yorkies. So no big deals there.

Have watered veggies with kids leftover bottled water - (recycling) and done my usual recycling when I collected kids.

Taking a friend and another neighbour to my gym on a free voucher to a boxercise class so that'll be fun!!!!!!Have lost another lb this week so my target is in sight but still the progress has slowed to 1/2 - 1lb per month.Thats with 8-9 hrs exersice and limited food intake. So I am fully focussed on both this and my weight loss.
