Had a fantastic day at legoland and spent a grand total of £4. Not bad considering my SIL spent nearly £100
Have just had to go online an cancel about £10 worth or my Mr T order as I have no room in the freezer for it, we will have to live out of the freezer for a while. But not tomorrow. Dh is taking me out to dinner as it's my Birthday :j . I've asked the family for lots of recipie books, they all looked at me as if I was daft, but I'm hoping for one or two. Thanks to all the lovely people on here I have managed to cut my hours down to 2 days a week, allowing me to spend more time with my gorgeous Children. :j0 -

As your thread about having more food since joining the grocery challenge has dropped off the front page of Old Style, I've added it into the GC thread so that everyone there can see how much food you have left over at the end of the month.

I really must learn how to do the quotes in neat little boxes....might rub off to put stuff in neat little boxes in the real world then:rolleyes: ........NAH!...THAT is never gunna happen:rotfl:
Just wanted to say there's a load of ideas on the Special Occasions board for making hampers & loads of really cool gifts that look very professional but for pennies as opposed to £££ charged for similar in the shops. HTH.
Hi BigMumma - I can tell you how to put the quotes in the neat little boxes (Just hit 'reply' below the person and thread you're responding to or typethen the message
But that only happens on the thread, thats not how to get your life in neat little boxes I'm afraid - but if anyone helps you with that, can you pass them onto me please!:rotfl:
EDIT: Oooh, sorry, forgot when I typed it, it would put it into a box - you need to put [ quote ] then your message [ / quote ] (but don't put in the spaces as I only put them so it would stay there)LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -
Evening all
Well i've had a totally NSD free weekend. Topped on the basics as i'm trying to run the cupboards and frezzer due to our move later on this month. Got to go to Lidl's tomorrow for bread flour, ham, rice & toliet rolls, which should be that until next weekend at least.
We have been to Alton tower's for the last couple of days (Sunday at splash-landings waterpark & today on the rides excelent fun all round. So got home got DS's pack lunch ready, washing on and thought i'll have a quick read through, OMG its 17 pages long, good to see some newbies - Good luck to you all you'll find we're a friendly bunch here and theirs always loads of advice, idea's and recipes to make the contents of our cupboards and frezzers go that little further.
