surely he should be doing something different
I thought cook the onions first then mix with corned beef tomatoes and baked beans and layer in a dish then put mash on top then cheese (i wouldnt have put in the carrot or mushroom)
What do you think? how do you cook corned beef hash?

caraway seeds.... have a slightly aniseed flavour -just dashed to the kitchen and chomped a few to make sure i was right..its strange because i don't like aniseed at all -but like these in bread
Whacking it in the bread machine is fine -i used to use mine to mix my dough -i just added the seeds right near the end of kneading.
My box is an airtight long thin box i got that came with a big loaf tin inside.. its brilliant, but for the bigger white loaves that "mushroom" i struggle to get the lid on
To help keep it fresher for longer you can always add a spoon of oil of spoon of marge/butter (i find oil made the loaves more dense) ..but i don't use anything ...trying to save eating empty cals
Hey there MRSMCAWBER
I can just see you running into the kitchen to chomp on a few seeds :rotfl: I didnt mean you to do that I will havE to get some,, I have sesame .. pumpkin. sunflower,, and poppy seeds and linseeds also walnuts,, hazelnuts,, but I have no caraway ,, will have to get some
will get some tomorrow and some rye flour all these different types of flour it must taste nice

I do mine slightly differently ANY CHANCE. I marinate the corn beef in a mixture of worcestershire (sp??) sauce and wholegrain mustard. Then I chuck it in the pan with onions and potatoes. BF always has a fried egg with his and we both have big splotches of tom sauce0 -

Hmmmmm, I do think if you were called George it would be cool as you get socks with 'Baby George' on the sole, akin to 'Baby Gap' but then who would call their child Gap ?:o
:rotfl: DS is called George and DH always says I can save a fortune on name tags when he starts nursery.
Thanks for your kind words earlier in the week. Also to Sav3r & Denise. I would love to stay at home, unfortunately, our mortgage is too big for dh to cover on his own. I do feel very lucky that my children are looked after by family though. School has now broken up, so I'm back at "home" for 5 weeks, although at the moment I have now kitchen, not even a sink! I am taking the children away for tomorrow until dh has finished fitting the new one.
As tomorrow is payday, I'm declaring at £241.79. That includes savings transferred into my pin money pot, so I actually spent less than this :j Can you put me down for £260 in August. I'm hoping to spend less, but with the holidays, who knows! Thanks to all the lovely people on here I have managed to cut my hours down to 2 days a week, allowing me to spend more time with my gorgeous Children. :j0 -

Oooh Gibbs, I totally agree, but then I've always gone for older men, especially bald ones.... (starts salivating at the thought of Patrick Stewart...)
p.s. Sorry, just caught up with all the posts, will stay on topic in future. Thanks to all the lovely people on here I have managed to cut my hours down to 2 days a week, allowing me to spend more time with my gorgeous Children. :j0
