Be careful with the £/100g though cos I've found loads of errors on this. Esp with meat. So its best to calculate it for yourself. ;)

I'll post examples of errors on this later if I have time...

I think this link will only work if logged into MrT website

    http://www.tesco.com/superstore/product/promo.aspx?prodId=60929187
Skinless chicken breast fillets on special offer £5/670g
    stated price per KG £5
    actual price per KG £7.46

    Beef Steak mince 250g £1.75
    stated £/KG £5.83
    actual £/KG £7

there are loads like this which makes it a real pain to compare prices as you have to work out the £/KG yourself. I dont trust any of the prices per KG or per100g they give now since I've found these obvious errors.

Just looked on Mysupermarket.co.uk for the items above and they are listed at the correct £/KG so they must work out the price themselves instead of taking MrT's ;) HTH

Mr T have got a lot of dried beans and pasta reduced atm, and some of their value biscuits

Edit:  Value milk choco has gone up from 23p/100g to 39p/100g!!!! Cause the normal chocolate is on offer at 35p/100g

Just done my online shop, came to 31.65 inc. delivery. No codes available . Will wait until after its delivered to update sig, as hopefully I can get that down a bit to come in under budget - AND they did not have any value bacon.

Hello Everyone, Just logged on as i have not been able to catch up on the thread yet.

Have lost count of the NSD we have had and i think we have added all previous spends. Total still looks low though, saying that we have been really busy and not had time to go shopping.
We have been using up things from the shopping i did last week and other things we had stashed away in the cupboards/freezer.

Hope everyone is doing well on their challenges.

Hoping to go to the shop in the next few days.

Take care all. Will try and catch up on the posts soon.

Hi everyone! It's been another exhausting day! I have been to Rickmansworth and back to look at a car ( a round trip of 120 miles!) which I have bought - so not a NSD though it was in terms of the gc. I wasn't really looking to change my car but MIL has sold hers to SIL (who had hers taken back after BIL died - it was a motability one) and she wanted to buy mine. I said I would sell it to her if I could find one as good and the same make and model. Today I found one on the internet which was a year younger than mine (five years old) and had only done 14000 odd miles! So I bought it - the difference between the new one and what MIL will give me for mine is only £700 (which I can find in savings) and with such low mileage it should last me five years so an investment really! I am proud of myself for going all that way on the motorway by myself and it's the first time I have ever bought a car without my DH having a look at it first! I spent the rest of the afternoon cleaning my car (including hoovering the inside) so it's nice for MIL, but it was very hot out and I am worn out.

With all this spending it's a good job I am actually on target for the gc this month. We had hm quiche lorraine for tea with jacket potatoes and salad. There was enough to freeze 4 portions and while the oven was on I made a batch of scones for a church tea. Took some prawns out of the freezer to make something for tea tomorrow, but realise that I will need to buy some mushrooms and we have run out of bananas so tomorrow will not be a NSD. Also, with all the excitement I forgot my whoopsied runner beans which are still in the fridge - hopefully they will still be ok to cook tomorrow!

Off to bed now, so goodnight folks.
