Here are the loaves/rolls at 2nd proving and then after cooking. They were completely HM this time, kneading is such good fun :)

Edited to say---- oooooooh those cheese biccies are lovely- mine rose slightly and they came out tasting like tiny little cheese scones. The dough was quite wet, would they likely be harder if drier dough ? mmmmmmm anyway I have eaten loads and DH came home at lunch just to get some! This is the only problem with home baking, mind you we did not have a proper lunch, just nibbling on biccies!:p

They are a bit like cheese scones aren't they? Mine always rise really nicely, sometimes they're a bit like puff pastry but that may be due to rerolling after the first cutting of shapes IYSWIM. If the dough is too wet add more flour. (if they were wet after cooking then they prob needed a bit longer) If it's too dry add more milk ;) I love them and they were great for when DS had a bad cold as they were the only thing he would eat. Yummy Yummy never last more than a few hours in this house :D(I've normally eaten half before they've even cooled)

Edit - had to go make some after seeing yours OrkneyStar NomNomNom I only used 50g cheese cos thats all that there was already grated (still got 20 from the mix though) :)

They were just right today :) Rose lovely and are soooooooo good. I might try adding a wee drop of chives or softened red onion next time and see what that tastes like ? Thanks so much for the recipe.

    Hi guys,
Just wondered if I can join you all, I always read the thread but walked out of my job earlier today and so need to make sure that I am cutting back everywhere I can, not the type of thing I normally do (had worked there for 6years!!) but couldn't take anymore...anyway, I have a freezer full and reckon £10 can last me the month...hopefully!!
    WIN £2008 in 2008 £1836.31 2009 wins - £91!!! 2010 wins in Oz $ 6170.... wins 2011 aprox $2000
MFIT - number 37. Reduce my mortgage from £63,500 to £48,000. now at 54,000...

Thanks zoe xxx We've been arguing already  he does my head in so much. We do still live together (seperately) but hardly spend much time together as when he is home from work and at weekends I normally stay in my room and leave him to look after DS (I miss DS loads :( when I'm not with him but cant stand his father so much so have to avoid him)

I would love to be able to move out but I just wouldnt have enough money to afford everything and DS's nursery (cant look after him all week as I've got ME) without DLA and cant get DLA without a proper diagnosis (and even then its unlikely I will get it) So I'm stuck here :( until either I can find a way to have enough money or until DS gets free childcare (which will be after he's 3, he's 21 months atm) :( oh well...

I've got my first appointment with the ME clinic in the beginning of september(even though I was referred to see them last october  ) So hopefully I can get something in writing from them to aid a DLA claim. Fingers crossed.

To stay on thread... I've got a MrT delivery coming tonight 7-9 so will update my sig later. :p

    Take care everyone :)

    Nikki x

PS OrkneyStar cheese & onion/ cheese & chives biccies sound yummy - let us know how they turn out :)
