    Hello all, just updating sig.

Also whilst in Asda i noticed that the 500g tub/tin of nescaffe has been rolled back from £9 odd - £6.89, and organic sunflower oil has been rolled back to £1.08, making it cheaper than the non organic stuff (it is not on the shelf with the oils though, it's with all the organic stuff)

NSD for me yesterday - it needs to be too - am really trying hard to cut back this month.
Some good/bad news - depends on the way you look at it - I had 2 flights booked to New York for a birthday treat for OH to watch a boxing match that has now been cancelled. Disappointed that the fight is off and that we won't go now but quite secretly chuffed as I phoned the travel agent and I get all of the £700 for the flights refunded apart from £87 - that's a massive relief!
Thought I was going to lose the lot and still have to buy an alternative birthday pressie.

Tea tonight will be a use it up kind of affair - bit of quiche that needs eating (or it goes in the dog and he's already too fat), new potatoes and runner beans. That'll clear out the "nearly dead" stuff in the fridge and let me cook something "new" tomorrow.

I'm thinking about going back to Slimming World - will check out the times of the classes online in a mo and then decide. Feeling a bit podgy and I know from from my newest jeans that they're a bit tighter than before I went on hols. I'm hopeless at dieting on my own - I need the competitive thing that I get from going to a group and the committment of having to go every week.
We'll see......Not looking forward to the scales though!

Aiming for another NSD today and tomorrow - have brought lunch with me to work (cheese bap and fruit) and will do the same tomorrow. Must try to reign it in a bit!

Anyway enough woffling - back to work.....

Cheese of all descriptions - gorgonzola, cheddar, parmasan, slices, spanish hard cheese, and cheese triangles.Great selection of salami, parma ham and the like cheap as chips.

Will make 2 x Twinks and
chocolate muffins later or tomorrow.Have got a bag of magdalenas which we'll have a couple in custard after tea.

Really looking forward to spending time with friends who I've not seen for almost a year.So I'm prepping a lot of stuff in advance and freezing here or at my neighbours.

The buns and the cheese biscuits (angelnikki's recipe), yum yum yum. The buns were a standard victoria sponge recipe. Was going to ice them but they are sweet enough like that.
Made those this morning, also got 2 loaves and 6 rolls at the 2nd proving stage, will post the pics once they actually cooked.
    I love baking :)
Was even very good and washed and dried and put everything away afterward (normally I leave it on the board to dry for a bit cos I detest drying!).
Hope everyone doing ok today, halfway through another NSD so quite happy with that.
Once I have cleaned up DS's mess from the highchair, floor etc I should really iron :o
