oh SAV3R i hope things turn out ok for you sweetheart....but like someone said (denise i think?) at least if you ask your mum about looking after your children, you'll know where you stand, and it might be a worry off your mind (((hugs)))

well i've got the BM on, first load of washing's on the line, 2nd loads been put on, i've weeded all round the flippin pond (hate that job!), done some ironing and the dogs have had a quick walk on the beach.....ready to go back to bed now!! :rotfl: been up since 5am cos i couldn't sleep

Well as you can see from my signature I have already blown the budget completely.
Spent £100.34 in Mr T yesterday, and what worries me is that the trolley wasn't even full.!! Mostly the things for the babies didnt help. £33.84 was stuff just for the babies, and £12 was stuff not even on my list.!! So the Mums are going to have to re think what they do with thier money and how much they are giving me towards the bills...
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Havent had access to computer for about 4 days so lost track of this thread completely! Had my waitrose shopping delivered, came to £29.69 after all discounts/bogofs etc. That includes the delivery charge:D Got 16 chicken breasts, 4 tins tuna, 8 andrex quilted, 6 kitchen rolls, 2 x johnson wipes, 2x radox bubble bath, 4 1/4 pounders, 1 litre olive oil, 12 large FR eggs, 2 x soya milk, cathedral city cheese.
Saved a lot on the chicken, i like the waitrose policy on replacements! I ordered 2 x 8 chicken fillets @ £10.99 each, buy 2 save £7, these were out of stock so they gave me 4 x 4 chicken breasts and only charged me for 2, so saved £13.18 rather than £7:D
I think everything i bought was bogof or reduced in some way:o Will definately be using the voucher again before it runs out, i dont think i need to buy anymore chicken for a while! I stocked up in Mr S recently when it was bogof, i probably have about 50 chicken breasts in my freezer;)

With all the price rises I think I'm going to have to up my budget. Unfortunately we don't have the choice of supermarkets you have in the UK. When I've seen what my final total is this week I'll average it out and come up with another amount for next month. I know I've gone over this month, but I hope not by much!

    What does this include ?
Do they use reusable nappies, make own food, use reusable or the cheapest wipes ?
If the mums are really needing to spend that amount then you should not be out of pocket because of it!
Hope you have some success re-couping your burglary losses.

Today was my first day back at work after Maternity leave. DS started crying as soon as I turned to leave. I later found out he refused to eat any breakfast, made me feel like the worst Mum in the world. I would love to be a sahm, but we just can't afford it at the moment.

luckily, SIL is looking after him & DD, so at least I know they're looked after the way i want. She phoned at luchtime to tell me he ate all his lunch, which made me feel better.

What didn't help was that as soon as I arrived at work, I was handed a huge box of new schemes of work I need to look at over the Summer.
Sorry for boring you all, but I needed to get that off my chest

At least today was an nsd
    Aw hugs to you :)
I decided to be a SAHM after my maternity leave, and it was the best decision I made :D . DH does not earn a lot even though he works f/t very hard  (I earned more than him) and we have to make a lot of sacrifices but it is worth it. Thankfully we have no debts and the mortgage is not too high, although once the bills are paid there is not a lot left, hence I juggle like mad so we can have a wee holiday or the odd treat  . I would always say that being with DS is worth more than any money. However I understand now everyone feels this way and some people have debts/mortgage etc that are simply too much for one wage alone.
Your LO will soon settle in to the new routine, as will you, and just think of all the benefits too, like socialisation and all the other stuff.
I miss the challenges of work sometimes too, and may well go back to some sort of career once DS is older, try to enjoy work as much as you can.
    Take care.
Its another NSD planned for today, need to make bread, cheese biscuits for DS (a la angelnikki's recipe), maybe some cup cakes or cookies too :p .
Misty outside here today although hopefully that will clear and maybe some sun  ?

PS Is it just me or does everyone seem to be close to, or actually, blowing July's budget lol ? :o
