Tea was a big hit with the kids. The wonder of leftovers.Have frozen everything else.
Have just watered veggies ,made a jelly, washed up,swept kitchen now I am glowing nicely with a glass of fizz.
Kids have tidied up outside and now they are watching a movie before we go in the pool.
A few lengths before putting the kids to bed is just what I need to keep me fit and healthy and cool.

Hi everyone.
Another NSD today. Just me for tea tonight as rest of the family are away. So I had something from the freezer. Going on holiday on Friday so going to use up contents of the fridge this week I feel some omlettes coming on!
Mooloo So sorry to hear your news.
Annelouise You sound as if you have a lovely life in Spain what with the weather and the pool. I am very envious.

I have 25+ lavender bushes that I can deflower before I leave for the UK and store in ziploc bags till I get organised later in the year.

, and have 2 black bin liners to go to the charity shop. Was quite ruthless but needed to be really.
Today was another gc NSD (did spent approx £3.50 but was from other budget- bought DS a wee cone as a treat after his jabs).
The fish cakes were lovely for tea. Tomorrow is chilli kebabs (whoopsies from the COOP), corn on the cob and mixed pepper rice. mmmmmmm. Will have some chutney with it and maybe make some garlic mayo too.
Need to make some bread tomorrow and also some Tiffin too as a wee treat for us all. Also need to make some cheese biccies for DS. The wee soul is a nightmare with food right now, some meals he scoffs the lot, others he will not even touch! He loves things he can hold and adores bread but he needs to eat more than that!

Just updating my sig, don't know what happened thought I'd done it the other day (thought I had a lot left).
DS2 much brighter today, hope when we go for xray tomorrow everything is ok.
Back to work today, felt like I'd missed more than a week. Decided I can't really afford to give job up, don't know what to do if Mum decides she wont look after boys. It is making me really depressed now, thinking about it. Talked to a friend at work and got upset, so now she must think I'm stupid. Feel like eveything is going wrong.
Made currant cookies and jam thumbprint cookies. Amazing how baking makes you feel a bit better.0 -
Today was my first day back at work after Maternity leave. DS started crying as soon as I turned to leave. I later found out he refused to eat any breakfast, made me feel like the worst Mum in the world. I would love to be a sahm, but we just can't afford it at the moment.
luckily, SIL is looking after him & DD, so at least I know they're looked after the way i want. She phoned at luchtime to tell me he ate all his lunch, which made me feel better.
What didn't help was that as soon as I arrived at work, I was handed a huge box of new schemes of work I need to look at over the Summer.
Sorry for boring you all, but I needed to get that off my chest
At least today was an nsdThanks to all the lovely people on here I have managed to cut my hours down to 2 days a week, allowing me to spend more time with my gorgeous Children. :j0 -

It is so hard leaving kids while we go out to work, I often wish I could be a SAHM, my problem is only holidays and that feels bad enough. At least my kids are now 9 & 13. I'm sure he will get used to being with your SIL and will settle better soon.0 -
