Hello everyone. Start of a new routine for me as it was back to work after a long period off. I was worried that I would be tempted by the hot brekkies and deli lunch bar, but faithfully packed up my lunch this morning and so far so good, NSD for me. Hope I can keep it up! Also wanted to share that I just heard that I'm going to be getting some back pay from work from them recalculating my contract when I was off and that's going to be worth approx £1,100 - WOO HOO! I got all excited at the thought of where can I spend it.... then sense took over. Have decided that if I do well with both the grocery and extra earnings challenges that I have set myself then I will allow myself a treat at the end of the year, so extra incentive for me! Hope you're all enjoying this beautiful sunny day!!MFW Challenge (Tgt Date Nov 07): ACHIEVED FEB 07!

I think it still gets taken off. I know when you use an extra points coupon it goes through even if the bogofs take it under the amount. HTH.
Had to get some clothes today for DS DD and shoes for DH. Spent £40 not from the GC but still eek! Got 5 dresses for DD though and 2 pairs shoes for DS and 1 for DH.
DS is really into Dr Who so just wants to wear baseball boots all the time, wasn't able to get boots but got little shoes, £4.50 for 2 pairs. The sale is on in Matalan if it's any help to anyone. They also have 3 for 2 on all of their school uniforms.
Don't know if anyone has any suggestions but DS is really thin (still wearing 12-18 months shorts and he's 5 in December) but also quite tall. Does anyone know where I might be able to get him some school trousers that actually fit him? Thanks, Kaz.

Well with the list of recipies at the front of the thread, I have done my menu plan for the rest of the month. I will have to think about the rest of the day, breakfasts and lunches before I shop.. least I have started. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0

Well DH has probably blown the budget this month as I left him to the reins over the weekend.
Saurday he took the kids to Burger King ?cost. He paid 2 trips to Asda on Saturday, had pizza for tea when we already had stuff in. Hmmph. Today he's bought bread and milk.
Tried to get an idea of his spends but he doesn't know how much he spent. I reckon £35.90 going by online banking. Hopefully he hasn't put anything on the cards too!
Payday tomorrow so new month at GC land! We go on holiday on the 15th but will keep the budget the same as it's SC.
I'm in luck cause DS is cuddling up and being lovely.
Just got off the phone to Occy health and have to go and have blood tests and boosters on Weds am. I had a needlestick injury on Saturday night from a dirty needle full of insulin. Just pleased I didn't end up injecting myself with all the insulin. That would have been great when I passed out later on in the evening wouldn't it!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
