got up at 5.30 to put the washing out cos there was no sign of rain, and no doubt it's on its way here again  so i thought as long as it gets a couple of hours out there, it should be practically dry!!

MooLoo i can't imagine anything worse than being burgled.you poor poor thing. let's hope the police have got enough to go on to catch the little b's

hope you're feeling better today IfOnlyItWasEasier it must be getting you down being poorly for so long (((hugs)))

hopefully got an NSD day today....have to take Dylan to the vets to have his stitches out (he was neutered last week ) and i think he's gonna be the 0.00001 % that it doesn't flippin calm down :rotfl:

am off to my gran's in a bit to do her housework/washing etc, then back home. will put the BM on when i get back, to make some rolls. i've planned on doing some of those cheap burgers i got at Mr M's the other week in HM rolls for tea, and lunch will just be a quick sarnie or bowl of HM soup

DS15 keeps on at me to make some choc chip muffins, so i'll try and get some of them made as well today

Morning all, off for shower and work soon, so no time to chat (ha, since when has that EVER stopped me... :rotfl: )

Up at 5am to see hubby off to work - made his flask & sarnies for him, then cleaned the kitchen, cooked some cupcakes, put BM on (loaf rising at the mo!) put wash on and hung up to dry, made bed and then came on here - knackered now! :D but very productive day so far, which coz not been well is a first for ages.

Sun is shining here which always helps and no clouds so far - think they said on the news last night that no rain expected and will get warmer and less windy as week goes on - high of 27 on Thursday apparently! (we'll see! )

:happylove Anyway, just wanted to wish everyone a good day :happylove , hope Dylan isn't one of the dogs that it doesn't work for Mandy_Moo - my old dog Ben had it done and it never worked for him - actually, lie, it did a bit, but a reeeealy tiny bit, so good luck!

    Morning all,
Sunny here today  , which is good as there is a lot of local stuff on outside this week :) Still a tad windy and there are some clouds but a definate improvement on what there was before! Got the washing outside already to take advantage of the wind/sun combo!
Sorry to hear you were burgled mooloo- what nasty person/peoples

Yesterday was another NSD so 11 for this month now :) just hoping for some more. Obviously I might have to spend some money on other stuff- but need the GC NSD's so we don't go anymore over budget :) Our Aug starts on Thur 31st so including today its 10 more NSD's needed! I have everything though, just need to bake some bread when the last whoopsie loaf is finished. Got cravendale to last us beyond end Jul I think and also some fresh milk which will do the next two days. Also got plenty 'snacks' and might bake some more in a couple of days too.
    ciao for now.

justamum -my recipe says 110g of marmalade and 1 tablespoon of orange zest if wanted.

denisefowler - Hubbie is organising next job / career after 24 years in Army and will be on leave from Sept - end of Jan and facilitating jobs, interviews etc from here is a logistical nightmare so I have been here for a year out and we are not prepared to be separated again so we may be back as we will keep our Spanish house. He is a young 40yr old go getter who can't keep still for 5mins who has also been running my business back home alongside my Nursery Manager and doing a fab job alongside his demanding military commitments so the sacrifice is worth it for us all to be a family whilst we sort out our next adventure.

I have already been looking and comparing virtual shopping lists in anticipation of my return....I will also be working pt which is different from here so wil have to see how that goes.

Planning my shopping list for tomorrow meticulously.

Mooloo - sorry to hear about the burglary. Phone up the card companies and explain. Hopefully they will be able to transfer the balance to a new card.

I am hoping to focus on some menu planning today. Before I go to the opticians.
I used to be meticulous about my menu planning and shopping but for the last few months since Ihave been back at work full time, I just havent got my act together, and now with the last few horrible weeks, I need to focus and rise to the challenges again. I think I have about £60 for the rest of the month, if I stick to the budget of course.
So I must use the next couple of days that I have off of work to get the budget sorted out, and the finances back on track, once I get access to my money again!.
Tonight is easy, I have enough veg to do a casserole in the slow cooker and will put that on once the twins have sorted out the kitchen after thier mess of breakfast etc.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

AngelNikki two things, one, please carry the post over to next month - or we'll only be asking where the recipes are again...:D :D:D and two, who's the cute little person in your new avatar?

Thats my gorgeous DS :happyhear We are having a new bathroom fitted this week so (Ex)OH has taken the week off work and is gonna be home all week. It does my head in being around him so I've put DS on my avatar as a way to cheer myself up cos it always makes me smile to see his little face :D

With the recipe index, I will carry it over to next month :A

I've got 2 weekly shops left for this month - one tomorrow and one next tuesday. I think tomorrow's is gonna come to about £70 (that includes about £20 worth of nappies pampers 2 for £16 plus MrT own brand ones as we use a mix) so that will leave £90 for next weeks shop which is more than enough. Should def come under budget :D

    Take care everyone :)

Well, just on to say Hi :hello: this morning and see how everyone is.
Had bad night with a poorly dog (see 4k challenge thread) so I'm very tired.

Today's plans for me are strong coffee followed by playing with the chicken carcass thats in the slow cooker. Maybe made some muffins (we love muffins :D), then off to the council tip before taking my father to speech therapy, phone the vets before the kids come home. Fun day - not.
