Aaaaaaaaaargh!!!!!!!! I had a massive order on Asda and I have just gone on to finalise it and they have changed the website. The whole shopping list has gone. To say I'm not a happy bunny is an understatement.

Went to the cash and carry and surprisingly Asda was cheaper on quite a lot of things, though how I'll navigate this website remains to be seen. Worked a few hours for a frined this afternoon, not really how I wanted to spend my day off. Should get some pennies later on.

Horses seem settled in their field. They are getting suncream on their noses and are not at all grateful. Must get the farrier organised. In fact I'll go and do it now.

Well done on moving the horses! Glad loading wasn't too much of an issue. You'll enjoy having them nearer to home.

Went to daub the horses noses with sunscreen but the old boy declined and disappeared to the other side of the field. Mine was intent on covering me in it so I bid a hasty retreat. Farrier is coming on Thursday. Will have to wrangle some time off and work it back up. OH is coming with me tomorrow afternoon to see how they are in the stables. Old one should be ok mine might be a problem, we'll see.

Just totted up last months grocery budget which came to £270.96. I think that's good considering there are 6 of us. This months will be higher as the cupboards are bare. I spent £136.04 at the cash and carry and probably got about the same on Asda when I eventually finish my order. Still cross about that.

I can't believe how tired I am. I forgot how tiring it was looking at a computer screen. I feel more tired than if I'd been outside working IYKWIM. Just want to fall asleep all the time. Anyways off to beddy byes now.

My horse hates sunscreen, just puts his head up to about 7 feet in the air. I bought him a UV protection mask, he now looks a little like Darth Vader....

Just brought the horses into their stables so they could get the 'feel' of them. Mine calmed down after he reared. My heart rate is nearly back to normal. Farrier coming tomorrow.

Finally had the Asda order delivered. I think its safe to say I am going to be well over the shopping budget this month as I've already spent £315 of my £336. The last 2 months I was under and I did use virtually everything up.

Also got DD1s birthday on Wednesday she'll be 12. Will have to get a few more bits and bobs for the cake and I think she wants a swimming party, so I'll have to organize that.

I have booked the girls in to have their hair cut for Thursday night. DD2 is desperate to have a bob. As her hair is nearly down to her bum we are not too sure. As I said to OH its not him that has to fight with her over brushing her hair. She couldn't make up her mind about it when I said she might get it done. She went round the whole school doing a tally chart to see what they all thought. The results from school were bob but she is still unsure.

Rode the horses yesterday, for the first time since they arrived. Not too bad but relieved to get home in one piece. Think DS1 wants to go again today. Nothing much planned for today. My back has been sore this week and is aching now. Must go and put some of that ibuleve gel on as it helped.

Will do my 6 monthly figures on the 11th. Target card stands at £390 which I'm hoping to have gone by end of July if not before.

I really do think it is getting harder to keep the shopping budget down - even with batch cooking and cooking from scratch. We will be trying to have a "no spend August" I think (we have a student for July so can't give him beans on toast all the time :o) but in August we will be scraping the dust off the cupboard shelves and making a meal with it I reckon!
