Good news about the horses, nice having them close to home, I used to live 10 mins walk from my mare and it was great.

Oh I'm so glad to hear the diamond turned up! Where was it? DD deserved that chocolate bar. How exciting getting your first paycheque. I won't get mine til June 26th! Seems such a long way off - and two mortgage payments to go before then too.

Got my first lot of wages today. Its only 3 weeks worth so next month should be better. The only downside is I got paid a cheque as they are in the process of changing bank accounts, so next month it will go in the bank. Hopefully OH will pay it into the bank tomorrow.

Friend lent me her slow cooker this week so I've been having a play about with that. Is is quite old and after 8 hours the carrots were still crunchy. It was edible.

Car has been in to have its brakes done. Not too sure how much that's going to cost, I'll find out tomorrow. Also think its going to need 4 new tyres. Bye Bye wages.

Trying to do a few extra hours this week then I don't have to do as many next week. Paid a fiver off the Abbey National card today, will see what OHs wages are like tomorrow.

Good news on finding the diamond! And good news on being paid, but just a shame it was a cheque. And eww to the crunchy carrots.......al dente?

They weren't that bad. Might have a go at rice puddings as some of the os'ers use theirs for this.
