Its gone! Last £20 paid off my Barclaycard. Might be a few pence in interest next month but I'm not counting that.

    Thats fab news Lucielle!

I have to admit I hate rummaging in their school bags although £695 for a ski trip isn't soooo bad..... not when you consider that we're being asked to fork out £100 plus £15 pocket money and bus and train fare for a 2 day trip 12 miles from school. The 2 days is a vague stretch considering that they leave school at 9:30 am on Monday and return at 3pm on Tuesday, a bargain at £3.40 per hour.

Just had an annoying phone call. Its DD2s party this weekend and she has invited a friend she doesn't see very often and never reciprocates on the return visit. Said friend phoned to ask if she could be picked up at 12 from the next village as mum didn't want to come with the horse box. I understand about the horse box, but she could drop her off at the top of the lane and go home another route. Am I just being sniffy? Feeling quite peeved about it.

Well, I have decided to move the horses nearer to home. I have been in negotiations with a local farmer and finally this week he say yes! Been up to see the boys today and tell the lady who looks after them, she was really pleased for me and will help to move them. I am thinking of doing it in half term, as they need to have their teeth done and mine needs to have a jab. Feeling a bit apprehensive about being responsible for them especially in the winter but there is a chap who I might approach about looking after them.

DD2s birthday party today. It went well we hired the local pool and everyone had a swim, then came to our house for food. I thought I'd done loads and ended up making more butties and used up 2 loaves of bread! Got some nice nibbley things for lunches next week, that we wouldn't usually have in.

Approached local chap about horses think he's on board.

Forgot to mention that DD2 found the diamond out of my engagement ring. Couldn't believe it. I've been to the jewelers and they are putting in new claws and refitting the diamond. Should cost about £40. Bought DD2 a choccy bar cos I was so pleased.

Next target card is Abbey National which stands at £498.35, then its onto the big boys. Just over a week until I get my first wages. Quite excited its such a long time since my bank account has seen any positive activity. Its also not far off my half yearly tot up and signature update. I know the ODs have gone up with moving bank accounts, so I'm prepared for that.

Must do some baking this week as I 've got loads of eggs that need using up. Sadly OH had to despatch one of the chooks this week. Hope you all have a good week.
