Yesterday was quite an eventful day. Went to work then came home to find the dog had escaped from her cage, cutting her pad in the process, leaving a trail of blood all over the house. It looked like the Texas chainsaw massacre. Then she had managed to open the front door and run off. I can only presume it was because it was trying to thunder and she hates loud bangs. Also the electric had gone off. Drove round in the car for a couple of hours and asked people I knew to keep and eye out for her. Anyway she did come home. Electric came on about 7.30 and OH and I spent the rest of the night washing the blood out of the carpets. I had only just washed our bedding and she had jumped all over it! Guess what I'm doing today.
Well it is my day off and was supposed to be going out with a friend, however her DS is poorly so its been cancelled. I have been and done the nags and currently got 5 lemon drizzle cakes in the oven and loads of washing to do.
Bugs bunny is in the slow cooker as I didn't get chance to get him done yesterday.

Just been to a meeting at the next school with OH and DD2. I left DS1 in charge (he is 14). Came back to find DS2 has been and placed a bid on ebay for a batch of mobile phones that don't even work!!!! Luckily the bid is for 99p and the postage a scary £5. DS2 is certainly in the bad books. However I'm hoping to put them onto a phone website and recover the costs. Here's hoping I don't win!

Ds2 Was grounded last night, in his wisdom he decided he was going to his friends after all! We had no address or contact number for said friend and hoped the original arrangements still stood. Luckily the school secretary's son goes to the same school and told her what he had done. She phoned with details and I advised her if he wasn't in school on Monday it was because he was in intensive care! OH is going to pick him up, cos I'm not sure what I would do.
It is DD1s party tomorrow, DS2 is not going to go and has to stay home with his dad. I have got the birthday cake in the oven and will decorate it tomorrow.
Paid £130 off 2 cards today. Slowly getting to cash out on the scratchies but it seems to be taking ages. Payday for me this week. Hoping I might get paid at the higher rate as they are pleased with my work.

I would be keeping a very wide berth from you if I was your DS right now :eek:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
