Hello, I'm cream crackered, I think the weekend has finally caught up with me, been frozen all day and finally nice and warm after a bath. Had a phone call from the dentist today for DS1 to go and get his crown done at 4.30. Took him in and then went to Lidl.
Had a blonde moment over the weekend, I printed off the virgin statements (we each have one) and realised that OH had been charged a late payment fee and had all the interest put on (should be 0% for 13 months). It was only when I looked properly and saw that I hadn't paid the minimum payment. I'd paid £60 and then a few days later £20, initially I should've paid £60.79, so missed the 70p off. OH phoned and they agreed to knock the interest off and reinstate it at 0%, however the late payment charge still stands. Breathed a sigh of relief after getting that sorted.
Then I had another blonde moment after checking my bank account I had 2 payments coming out on the same day for the same amount. I didn't recognise who the payee was and couldn't remember buying anything. So I phoned the bank and asked them to look into it. Anyway later on I remembered it was the payment for badminton.

Some days I live my life in a blonde moment. You only had two, after a very stressful weekend. No damage seems to have been done.
Enjoy an early night and sleep well.

After the weekend you've had surprised that you hadn't forgotten more. There's no lasting damage and you've managed to sort it so don't beat yourself up about it. Glad your ok after the nightmare of breaking down. You've had a difficult week and come thru it and now things should settle

I think the AA are going to pay the £500 less excess so probably more like £465, but it will help. Car situation is, new timing belt, valves, cylinder head and water pump bearing. Not heard when its going to be ready.
Work situation has been resolved, not a great outcome but at least its sorted and we can move on.
Got my computer course this afternoon and I think I'm coming down with a streaming cold, fab. Business is picking up and the workshop is full of repairs, so that'll keep OH busy.
Chaps are away with Scouts this weekend, think they are doing some slash and burn gardening at a local National Trust place. OH is taking DS1 to look at a car tonight, its scary thinking my baby is going to be 17 soon.
