You're always on the go, do you ever stop? Perhaps that's why you're feeling a lack of contentment. Do you take Lucielle time, away from the madness of the everyday? It might help a little, you never know.
Love to you

Bless, those significant birthdays are only as significant as you want them to be.
You have achieved an amazing amount of things, you look after a happy and well balanced family, that's not something everyone can do!
You're amazing, and I'm proud that you're my virtual friend!
Love to you

I Know exactly where your coming from L. I have my significant one next week and feel the same way. Flippy doop Luceille you have achieved so much.....work, business, family. You wear me out just reading what you do.:):) You need to sit yourself down and rest.
I know what you all mean by reaching a certain point and wonder what the bleep is it all about and what have I achieved. Money is a necessary evil, can't live without it. Its the people we live with and interact on daily basis are whats worth anything. Take a look at your family, your children's wee faces and you know you have achieved a great deal. We have warm good homes that are happy to be in (most of the time:):)). Most of us on here are happy with our lot. Its just the grind of everyday life that takes its toll. Hope that sounds sensible:)
We went out as a family for a celebratory meal on Friday and to be honest I would rather have been at home with a take-away. The food was poncey?? and tasted very good but to be honest I could have cooked it myself and saved a fortune. My husband even said the same. We are definitely changing. So I am now at the stage the going out for a meal has lost its appeal. I would rather be sitting with my cosy clothes on and feet up munching a chow mein in front of the telly and a glass of wine in hand:):)

Sorry to hear of your loss Beanie. Deepest sympathies. It takes a few days/weeks after a death for it to hit you hard. So my thoughts are with you.:A"You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream"C. S. Lewis
