Got back yesterday, car is all fixed and it even locks (it didn't before). Had a wonderful nights stay at Kinloch Lodge, t'was very posh but we coped. I've never slept in such a massive bed, or had a 6 course meal before. They made us feel very welcome and it was a shame it wasn't for longer. Needless to say the cc has had a real hammering but this figure isn't included in the overall total. I'm debating wether to put it in. I think I'll wait until next month and see what the exact damage is. When we came home we took the chaps out for tea as they'd been so good. House was tidy and they hadn't fallen out.

Got to go and see the fossils (parents) this weekend, I'll be really glad when its the weekend after and I'm going nowhere! Just trying to juggle the pennies so I don't put anymore on the cc. I've got lots of scout things to pay for and we aren't talking small amounts, I have got some money put away for them but do need to increase it.

We'll have a short badminton session tomorrow as we have the scout run to do. Still not ordered my weed matting and not had time to do anything with ebay. I've spent this evening sorting out paperwork and still got the VAT return to do. Accountant is coming next week so I'll have to get organised.

Back to earth with a bump. My mum has had to go into hospital, luckily I'm going down this weekend. Will find out more later on. At the moment they think its her chest and worried about the lack of oxygen in her blood but as she's a chain smoker its not suprising. My middle sister is being a real PITA and stirring things with a huge spoon, not whats needed at the mo!

Still frantically trying to juggle money, do accounts, cook, clean, wash, attend course, do NVQ, quality time (whats that) with the kids etc. Also feel very knackered despite being away.

Had to laugh today as DS1 has been having problems with his tax code, I've sent numerous P46s off and scanned his payslip to the accountant who sent a strongly worded letter in. Yesterday he received a new tax code called D1 which as he earns over 150000k per year means he pays half to the tax man. I did ask him to check under his bed for a hidden stash as I was going to up his board. Anyway after waiting ages I managed to get through to the tax office, the lady I spoke to did have a giggle and hopefully its sorted.

Poor lad, the real world and the taxman! And yet we didn't realise, until it was too late, how easy and cheap living at home was.

How busy are you??? You make me feel slovenly by comparison, all I've done is change the beds, put away laundry, tidy the kitchen and here I am at the laptop with a cup of coffee....
