Hi Turfy, the cold is almost a thing of the past. Phoned about the car and its developed a leak that they're trying to locate. They said it would be ok to drive but I'd rather it was mended. Going to phone in the morning.

Got badminton tonight, sort of looking forward to that. Get paid tomorrow, definitley looking forward to that, though I've already got my pay slip so now what I'm getting. Been trying to work amounts out to allocate to different places.

Had a chat with OH last night and trying to piece together what we do want. Still not really sure.

    Hi there luc x

I felt similarly "lost" a few months ago....it was then that I started really writing things down to get them out of my head - not on here, but on masses of A4 lined paper. Some of it I re-read after, some of it I had no need to read again....it was just useful to get it out of my head and in doing so I managed to process a lot of it.

Could be worth a go. Doesn't cost anything except a cuppa and an hour or so.....xx

Thanks H, must be something to do with approaching the BIG ONE (as in birthday). Glad we went to badminton even though I ache today, could've seen my glowing cheeks from outer space and certainly steamed up the windscreen when I got in the car!

I know you did so well. Trouble is I think I'm going to be a cliche` as in fat, forty and frumpy.

Anyway onto other news, THE CAR IS READY!!! Not sure how much, will have to phone back this afternoon. OH is booking the accommodation and its somewhere he's wanted to stay so another item ticked off his bucket list. Actually even though it will be expensive I'm looking forward to it.
