DD1 had a fab time with her cousin and wants to do it all over again. She's got her maths exam today so letting her off going to the maths tutor and have put that money away into the Christmas food shop, next weeks as well as the tutor is busy.
DS1 went to college on Monday and me and my pal spent the day playing in Carlisle. Managed to get some pressies bought. I did get myself a new top from M&S for the night away in York, had a go on a computer thingy they had in store which saved lots of trailing about. Went in a shop called Past Times and we both saw a gorgeous bracelet and stunning silver ring that I immediately fell in lust with. I decided I was going to sneak back and buy the bracelet for my friend for Christmas and then she said she'd buy me the ring for my Birfday! So we both went back to the shop giggling as I'd told her my plan. I've got the ring and I've got to resist wearing it so I have it for the night out.
Felt quite vile yesterday, knackered and like my ears were full of water. Managed to cook tea and had a bath and went to bed at 9. OH half woke me up when he came in as he was bl00dy freezing so he got grumped at. Feel loads better now.
Applied to Virgin for the 0% card and have been accepted, so transferred £3335 onto that from the Sainsburys card as the 0% deal ends on that one at the end of December. It'll leave a small balance left but should have that cleared before the interest rate hits. Got paid today so paid £250 off my HSBC card (not in debt total) and £250 off Sainsburys card. I'll have to get OH to transfer some more onto his as his transfer window closes soon.

Morning Lucielle
You are as busy as ever. Hope the car locks get sorted at a decent price today.
Good news on getting the 0% card that is brilliant. You are doing very very well on reducing your debt totals. The lilac is what you have paid off in 2011 isn't it? Well done Lucielle
Delighted you had a good time in Carlisle and you still have York to look forward to.
Hope you will feel a bit better soon.
take care

yes the figure in purple/lilac is this years amount paid off, however we did increase our debt by 6k in December but I couldn't bear doing an update in June as the total was still higher than what we'd paid off in Deember IYKWIM. However will do the figures in December for our anniversary. Feel loads better today. Thanks for all the positive vibes.

was just thinking about your car locks...I was reading an article about peoples car keys not working and it turned out to be a certain freeview box causing the problem as it operated in the same frequency of some car keys...am probably way off but just thought I'd mention it in any case0

Thanks Taxi, mines due to age and to get it fixed properly its going to be in the region of £500, so paid £30 for what he's done and some serious thinking to be done on the car front. My DS1 is 17 in March and current thinking is my car would be cheaper to insure, however it needs to get through its MOT. Not much else to report, £324.60 loan payment yesterday and some payments to be made when I get home tonight. Busy week next week so need to recharge my batteries this weekend as I'm already dreading it.
