Lucielle's daring debt free journey

An exceedingly busy weekend. Going back to work for a rest! After a lot of struggling managed to get the large dining room table into the kitchen but it did mean taking the legs off after it got wedged in the door. Hideous wardrobe is now in our room and lots of clothes have been thrown out but my side has a definite bulge!
Took DD1 to buy paint and her new room is white and blue, she helped loads with the painting as did DD2, the DS' weren't as helpful. OH was a star and did lots of annoying jobs as well as move the computer, furniture etc. Spent ages in the old girls bedroom which is now DD2s moving it round and giving it a really good clean. I couldn't face sorting out the clothes but will try to get it all done before Christmas, got 3 bags for bags to school which I'll take up to school for them to keep.
Teenager rant alert. What happened to my nice DS1??? I'm afraid to say he isn't very nice to be around at the moment. I cannot believe how selfish he is at the moment, is this normal or did I not do something along the way? Bearing in mind I was at physio on Friday for my back, I thought it was a reasonable request to help move the furniture, I mean he's not a weakling, his job is fairly demanding on the brute force and ignorance and stuff, but honestly you'd of thought we'd asked him to chop his arm off with a pen knife! And the face gurning......and the muttering under the breath, I could go on but I can feel my stress level rising and its way too early to be feeling like this. Please tell me this phase passes, cos I really feel like doing nothing for him and that makes me feel like I'm being petty.

Selfish is par for the course , here at least.
I was out yesterday, had a lovely day, came home and said something along the lines of have you had a good day & he dident answer me pleasantly.
So me being petty dident make his tea as he couldent even be civil.Pah.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Does it get better Beanie? He was ok tonight but still considering the adoption route, did offer him in exchange for a friends 4 year old. At least they'll go in their room when told.

I have 3 available too ladies....seriously we would be lost without them. They drive us nuts but we love them
:) Hard work at times. Ah some day they will be parents and their light-bulb moment will hit them. Then they will appreciate us.:):)

Morning EQ, turkeys look like they are making progress. DS2 had them out in the garden at the weekend and they do make some weird and wonderful sounds and still exceedingly ugly!!! Full of man flu but soldiering on.

Oh I agree with you...they are the most ugly creatures but they taste good
:):) They must have enjoyed the scraping about at the weekend. Good on DS2 soldiering on through his sniffles:):) Thankfully all mine haven't had anything just yet. Will probably all be sick by weekend now I have said that. Dark this morning but not too cold.
Take care
