Sorry I've just re-read it and it doesn't sound right, its me that's got man flu and am also full of fed-upness. I am fed up of being the 'one' who has to organise everything and keeping all balls bouncing. I work roughly 30 hours a week so not quite full time, run the home, organise the chaps, study for a course and help to keep the business running. My OH who also works hard but seems to have tunnel vision and focuses on work only. I am whingeing but as I'm ill its all justifyable. Take for instance last night, DD1 goes straight to the maths tutor from school and needs picking up about 5.30. OH should be closing at 5 so I asked him if he could collect her on his way home. No it would be easier if I could do it. Not a problem normally but as I just want to curl up and die at the mo, I thought cheers. Tonight he knows I'll be late back as my course finishes later, so he'll return lawnmowers so he's late back. Thanks. I do wonder if being a single parent would be better, as it certainly feels like one. Also when I'm at work, as the workshop is in the same location, he expects dinner to be made, even though I leave the house at 6 and he leaves at 8.15. What's that all about?
Have managed to put some washing on the airer and the dishwasher is on and that my friends is all I'm doing on the housework front. Sorry for the moan but needed to get it off my chest.

Oh L - thats hard when folk aren't singing from your song sheet and you're feeling carp.
I dunno what to say to help - probably nowt - but here a cuppa for you and hope you feel better later. There aren't many benefit to being a single parent as the other parent instantly thinks they can interfere more or give you a running commentry of how you're (me not you) doing it wrong as they could do it far better...........! Which I dunno is better or worse

Managed to drag myself into my course and share my germs with everyone (cos I'm generous like that) glad I did as we did something new. Bought some sudafed which was helping and did feel human last night. Felt tonnes better this morning but by 1.30 I was proper rough! Came home made a hot water bottle and went to bed. Woke up when the chaps came home and DD2 made me a brew, meant to get up and then the next thing its 5.30! Got out the pit and started tea with DD2s help. OH came home and hoovered so the hhouse looks reasonably ok. Feeling rough again at the mo.
DS2 has a friend over and they've got football in the morning. Not looking forward to freezing my bits off but its my turn so I'll just have to man up. DD2 has a friend coming over in the afternoon, DD1 is going to the flicks to see Breaking Dawn and DS1 is beating. I think I'll carry on being ill.

Feeling more like my old self and managed not to take any drugs today. Made 6 banana breads yesterday and then had to go to bed in the afternoon as was wiped out. I think today is the first day I haven't had a headache since Tuesday so a definite improvement. Paid £60 off a card on Friday, waiting for some statements to come through as I've done a balance transfer and there will be a small balance remaining on the old card which needs to be cleared by the end of December.
Ds1 is off to college tomorrow and OH is coming with me and hopefully we're finishing off the Christmas shopping, so looking forward to that.
