Not done much this morning, took the dogs for a poddle which was quite difficult as one of the leads hadn't been put back and the pup isn't used to walking on a lead, so that lead to an interesting walk. Made leek and butternut squash soup for dinner. Spent sometime doing the accounts as I don't want to have a big backlog. OH came home and he's swept the chimney which is a major job. Nearly killed the dyson cleaning up but have spent ages washing the filter so it should be a happy bunny again. Carpet is now needing washing which I'll do on Thursday before I take DS2 to the orthodontist for his retainers to be fitted and then onto my course.
In other news I've managed to get some tickets to see Billy Connolly in Feb just hope it doesn't clash with Michael Mcintyre as I can't remeber when we are seeing him. I got OH to phone about a loan that was due to end as I thought it was April and it turns out its March. Bring it on!
I took the plunge and weighed myself today and I'm the heaviest I've ever been. Not a happy bunny but only got myself to blame.

Weather was pants today, gloomy, drizzly and grey so we went to the beach. Had it all to ourselves and a great time with both the dogs and chaps. I put some brisket in the slow cooker and we've just had that with mash, roasties, broccoli, gravy, yorkshire puds, carrot and turnip follwed by apple and raspberry crumble and cream (and I wonder why I'm overweight). Was very nice. Called in at Lidl and got some veggies for the rest of the week.

Busy week survived, just. Had another exam on Friday for my NVQ and on the course I'm doing we are practising mock exam papers as the real thing is on the 15th of December. DS2 has been to the orthodontist twice this week and is now sporting some retainers which he has to wear for 3 months then it gets reviewed. Had physio on my back on Friday and been given some exercises to do.
As we've got the workshop/showroom we've decided to move the office into the dining room and make that DD1s bedroom. I needed a wardrobe as our clothes were on a rail in the d/r luckily at the antiques place near where I work they had one they were giving one away. Its pretty ugly and makes our room feel a bit claustrophobic. One day I will have nice furniture.
Got to go to town today to get some paint and surprisingly DD1 is being incredibly helpful, long may it last.
