how lovely of the kids ..have a great time.Which is your favourite restaurant by the way?(am assuming it's in York but may have that wrong)0

Had a most excellent Christmas party in York. The other peeps in the office got me a hot stone massage (for my birthday), which I had done in the hotel before the party. It was very nice but it did find a few sore bits round my shoulder blades that are a bit niggly. I came back to the room had a shower and the girls did my hair and make up, so well and truly pampered. Party finished at 1 but the boss wanted to go clubbing so after deciding if we were going we decided not and by the time we made it to bed it was 2.30, not seen that time since the chaps were babies. Was seriously worried I was going to turn into a pumpkin!
Woke up about 8ish, went for a swim and then turned all pruney in the hot tub, t'was bliss. Quick brekkie and then off to hit the shops. OMG it reminded me why I hate shopping so much. It was heaving. Got some more last bits and bobs and found some nice unusual shops. One street was so busy that it was single file all the way and a squeeze. A bloke walking in the opposite way had his ruc sac sticking out, smacked me in the chesticles (lucky it wasn't my head otherwise I'd ve been knocked out) I yelped it hurt so much. At that point I really had had enough.
Taxi the restaurant is at home. We had a lovely meal last night and I was starving as we didn't eat anything else after breakfast. Had the 3 course Christmas meal, didn't have turkey as I'd had it the night before so had the beef bourgingon (sp) and it was divine followed by Baileys Cheesecake. Delicious. Better get my butt out of bed and take the hounds for a walk.
I'll be back (said in true Arnie style) later today as I need to update the siggy.

Okay dokey, time for the financials:eek:
Outstanding amounts:- Sainsburys 3460
- Santander 3850
- Virgin 4390
- Tesco loan 973.80
Overdrafts:- Santander £750
- HSBC £550
Overall debt total £13973.80:eek:
This year we've finihed paying an overdraft of £1900 back to Barclays and reduced another from £300 to £100 which is going to stay at that amount. I've reduced my HSBC from £700 to £550 and aim to get that down to £100 and keep that as a buffer zone.
In March the tesco loan finishes which will free up £324.60. This year despite increasing the debt in January by 6k we have paid back £10595.93:T
So its going to be a bit of a push to clear that last bit. My car is very tired but I have a cunning plan (said in best Baldrick voice and where's BOB when you need her?) OH is going to arrange for our tame mechanic to do £100 of work on her each month as the MOT is looming. Also my DS1 is 17 in March and will probably practice in mine due to her being a geriatric. Morris is in for an MOT and service on Thursday and fingers crossed he should sail through.
Potentially this time next year we could be posting on the roll of honour but lets not tempt fate. Come along and join me for the ride.
