Didn't get into work on Friday but ok today. Internet at home has been down all weekend. Not sleeping very well at the mo so feel tired today, might try some Nytol tonight to see if I can break the pattern.

Final works do last night out of the way. OH was supposed to be coming but he had to stay at home and sort the turkeys out. All getting collected today at 11ish. On rough calculations I think DS2 has made £200. Not bad, thinking about doing it myself next year.

On the bad news front I've had niggly toothache since Tuesday. Its not hurting at the mo, but I know its going to, if that makes sense. Going to phone the dentist and see if I can get an emergency appointment. Last day at work today and boy am I glad.

The chaps have been really fab this week keeping the house tidy and having the stove lit for when we come home. I am feeling very proud of them, as I haven't left them a list and they are just getting on and doing it. In fact DD2 rang me up at work to see if I had any washing as the rack was empty and she nearly had a full load. Not bad for an 11 year old.

Still got a few pressies to sort but everything is under control. Money wise everything has gone a bit b00bs up but should be sorted by Feb time. Forgot to say that I guessed the pressie that OH has got for me, but I'm not telling ya yet!

I think DS1 is getting a leg of lamb off his boss for Christmas, yum! I've managed to find a small bottle to decant some sloe gin into (as they were his bosses trees we got them from) so he can give him that. I need another small bottle which I'm struggling to source.

What a lovely picture I have in my head of your family busily getting sorted for Christmas...sounds wonderful very much like the old days

They are hoping to get OH to take them to a large shopping centre today, rather them than me. I think DS2 is going to put some of his money away to buy some more birds next year and then he wants to buy a fancy phone. I hope he does that rather than blow it all on sweets.

I'm a happy bunny after having my tooth drilled and filled. Turns out I had a hole underneath my filling and another one coming which is going to be sorted in January. Dentist was surprised I'd phoned as he thought I was least likely to have any problems. I was eternally grateful to them for fitting me in. Work finished until next Friday and thank goodness for that.
