  • Hey up lassie, good fine wishes to you and yours in 2012, have a great year, waved passed at speed not really near but nearer than normal, enroute to airport (hence the speed) to pick up twiglets from dads.

Here's to a good un, ham sounded yummy, hope you might make it up north this year if you can xxx

As I've previously posted, I cooked a large ham at the weekend and it has made 24 portions which has come in at 58p per portion, so I reckon that's a good buy once a month or so.

Boss has said he'll pay half the cost for the next level on my course. That starts next week and continues until July. I'm billy no mates as everybody is busy and can't come with me to take DS1 to college.

Made a risotto the other night using pearl barley it was ok but tasted better today when I had it for lunch. Tea didn't quite go according to pan, I thought OH had got some mince out, so was prepared to try another new recipe out and got the few bits I needed only to find he'd got stewing steak out and it needed using. Put the steak in the slow cooker for tomorrow and cooked ham, egg and chips for tea. Not the healthiest of teas but all the chaps were happy.

Paid £45 off the debt. Target card is Santander as the 0% ends in February.

Hi Lu - sounds great about the contribution towards your course.

Your tea was healthier and more home made than our kids - DD had a tin of something - and DS had bananas in fajitas!
