As I type DD1 is making another batch. Just popped into the local village to try and get my watch sorted but the lady who does it wasn't there. Managed to get some reduced stir fry beef so that's gone in the freezer. Also procured some civilsed oranges for marmalade but will have to wait until the pressure cooker has finished making carrot and lentil soup before I crack on with that.

Hi, Lucielle
I tried to PM you a couple of minutes ago, but the system told me you don't exist. Tut!
Glad I've found your diary, and looking forward to following you on line, if that's ok.
Thanks for getting in touch
Have a great week

Hello LB, welcome to my mad world. Lovely to have you on board. Went to see War Horse yesterday, which was very good. DD1 managed to get a new jacket which will be another 3 weeks of paying me back, DD2 spent her voucher and got a new cardi. Got some new cups in £land which are badly needed. DS2 was a total cretin and came away with no footy boots but we got some new shuttlecocks (wonder if that'll get through the swear filter) ready to join the badminton club next week. Should've been this week but got parents evening. Going to see Billy Connolly on Friday night as part of DS1s christmas pressie.
Best do some work.

Thank you for the generous welcomes...I'm starting from day 1.... Will catch up with today in a few weeks :rotfl:
Lucky you going to see BC. Saw him oooh probably 3 years ago, maybe more at the City Hall in Newcastle...all I can say is...make sure you're not late in...you won't make your seat without him picking on you.:D
Have fun

We saw him in Edinburgh a couple of years ago, this is a treat for DS1. Parents evening went very well, pleased with the youngest two. DS1 went to his stick dressing course and has come home with a half shaped horn that the dog keeps eyeballing as something for her. Also had a sneaky peak at the people playing badminton, I think we'll be ok.
DS1 is in hospital tomorrow, he's having a scope down his throat as he's been having problems swallowing. OH is coming as well so we can both be with him. I'll be glad to get it out the way as will DS as its been hanging over us for a while.
