Another busy week at work, so thank goodness its over. Another busy week heading this way, DS2 at the orthodontist on Tuesday but instead of taking the day off I'll go into work. The week after is half term, 1 of the office peeps is off so I guess that'll be a busy week as well.

OH is off today but got the workshop to run. I've asked him to bring the chainsaw and hedgetrimmers home then I can attack the garden. Hoping he'll give me a hand but it won't be till after the rugby.

I got paid on Wednesday but not allocated it anywhere yet, so got that to do today. Got given a carrier bag of bananas that are over but not really manky enough to make banana bread. Need to put an Asda order in as we are running out of staples, last big shop was before Christmas so not bad. Not managing to get many reductions, Tuesday night is usually good for getting Warburtons at 40p but that's dried up at the mo.

I didn't manage to get in the garden as snow stopped play. I did shock, horror clean the car out. Methinks that's what made it snow. I did get lots of other jobs done, washing, hoovering, dishwasher loaded, soup made and the floors mopped, so not an entirely unproductive day. Treated ourselves to takeaway last night. OH took Morris and picked it up.

My middle sister is making waves again. She is very good at stirring it and sitting back and watching the fall out. She's also good at always thinking shes right and laying on the guilt trip. My mum isn't in the best of health both physically and mentally and as she hates her husband (my stepdad) and he feels the same but neither will leave it makes things awkward. Mum refuses to have a care package and SD does the bare minimum. Oh its such a mess! My older sister, who's the voice of reason is away this weekend and I need to talk to her.

Actually I'm a bit annoyed with her as well for telling middle sister about DS1 going to hospital for tests. Middle sister is a nurse and thinks she knows it all and the advice she's been ramming down my throat completley contradicts what we've beeen told. Alas she knows best! She also has a very patroninsing tone when she's in full nurse mode which sticks in my craw!!!!

I'm still sat in my pit and I'm loathe to get up. DS1 wants to take his dog over to a friends for some training need to check the roads out before we go too far and also make sure the friend isn't too busy. Still need to do Asda.

Hope you manage to sort the family stuff out Lucielle, stirring things up really doesnt help the situation, some people cant help themselves though. Hope the snow doesnt hinder you too much either.

    Hi Lucielle

Sorry to hear your mam isn't well and that extended family are getting on your nerves. I have a nurse in the family too and I know what you mean. I am sure her intentions are good but its hard to listen to. I get spoke to as if I am 15 not nearly 50 its hilarious but quite annoying sometimes.

    Your signature is looking well.

    take care

Well done on the course! Fab!

Glad the snow didn't hold you back and you had a nice shopping trip.

Families.... what can I say.... Can't live with them or without them.... Deep breaths probably needed on that one

Badminton club sounds fun and inclusive...
